God Hates Mets Fans

Yes, I am talking about the New York Baseball Mets. I know sports posts don't do very well, but this isn't really about sports. This is about some one (God) having it out for one particular fan base.

Now, if you're a Mets fan, first of all, I'm sorry, but secondly, you already know this. For everyone else, it may be a bit of a surprise. But let me lay it out for you.

First and foremost the Mets have a long long history of sucking. Sure, they actually have 2 championships, but those are aberrations. The Mets norm is at the bottom of the standings. That is until recently. More Here...

I recently moved to New York, which means my apartment has room for about 25 percent of the stuff I need, and everything qualifies as essential. But whenever I go home to my Dad's house, I'm struck by the sheer amounts of stuff we've managed to hold on to, much of it tech-related. It's funny, even though I'm pretty much positive I'll never use my first iPod again—a second generation model that turns on very, very rarely—I'd feel weird throwing it out.

So, to make myself feel better (and entertain myself), I looked online for some of the coolest ways to give new life to old gadgets:

You know, one of Joe's recent posts got me thinking. Firstly, I must commend him on his absolute rightness. The t-shirt/underwear combo is grounds for an epic win, ladies. Of course, for guys, getting to see you in such attire suggests one of a few things has occurred.

A. You're already lovers.
B. You're about to become lovers.
C. On a warm summer day, you eschew pants for the brisk feeling of the wind between your legs.

No matter the reason, rest assured that the man who sees you in such a state appreciates what you're doing for him. However, since this is generally not acceptable public dress, there is at least one tried and true piece of clothing that will most certainly get a guy worked up: the skirt. More Here...

In honor of my hometown, DC, I just had to include this video from Wale. Now, I'm no fan of Lady Gaga, but how can I say no to any video that features Ben's Chili Bowl as prominently as this video does. Anyway, check it out:
