@MrsJenBean@xanga - America has a serious problem with what it eats. Far too many eat processed unhealthy fatty, high salt/sugary foods.....and then they supersize that to boot!

The result is that at some point they are going to get some form of disease....like diabetes, stroke, cancer, liver,  etc etc. at a very early age in life.

As for their quality of life steadily declining this adds a tremendous burden on our nation's health resources and is extremely costly.

Bad eating is expensive AND destructive at the same time. Despite the many diets and diet fads which are hard to maintain over time, most people gain all the weight back and much more.....you see it all the time.....some famous spokesperson loses weight on weightwatchers lets say, and shows off in the commercials...fast forward 1 year or so and they are a total wreck, diet wise.....with all the old belly fat and MORE. Just refer to Coach Don Shula, or ESPN's Chris Berman and so on.....they get their endorsement money and pack the pounds on soon after.....

Another new trend in the area of fat people is the acceptance of TV shows featuring very fat people....and I mean VERY FAT....take the show Mike and Molly...a show about an extremely FAT couple and their trials and tribulations....they go merrily on their way spewing out all those fat jokes and snickering about it while they balloon ever bigger and bigger. Sadly this is a terrible message to convey to an audience as it trivializes and elevates the state of fatness to a cult status. Being FAT is not something people should aspire to.

How about the TV show "The Biggest Loser".....all that effort to try and lose so much weight that they should never have put on in the first place.....what kind of sense does that make......didnt those people ever scan themselves in a mirror at home when getting dressed? Guess it was easier to buy new clothes than to put the fork down afetr the first plateful of food!

And dont tell me these people arent vain....please...they know how bad they look after gaing 50 - 60 lbs....isnt that enough incentive to stop the food madness?  

When you were dating your trim mate in your twenties, why is it ok for them to become twice their size in their forties.....would they have gotten a second date back then at their new weight???  I DONT think so.

Bad eating is bad for people and the planet.....eating meat, dairy, and processed foods are both serious attacks on our entire physical systems and are causing terrible damage to the planet because of the ways that all this bad food is created.....mother earth is at risk here to not just us human behemoths.

Its time America wakes up.....we should take some cues from Europe and the lifestyles they enjoy......I was there twice and the very first thing I noticed was that the vast majority of Europens were about half the size of the FAT American. They actually can wear beautiful clothes....not some disgusting XXXL Tee shirt and some huge pair of stretchy gym pants. We are a nation of FAT people now....and I for one am very disgusted by it....Im sorry but its no fun even looking at FAT people......thats being perfectly honest.....so there. Try going to a mall or a Walmart some time and see if 80% of the people you see arent at least 25 pounds overweight.

If this doesnt stop then this country is going to be in deep trouble.......we need to stress eating properly from the earliest age thru adulthood.

So its time for America and all the sick Political Correctness to stop about fatness!

Fat isnt cute...........Fat isnt jolly!.........fat isnt an admirable quality!...........fat is just that....FAT!.....and it comes with all the true negatives inherent in it......Bad health; Bad looks;  Bad quality of life etc etc.

Get real America and all of you fat folks.......stop being brainwashed and start eating healthy...........veggies; fruits; grains; nuts; beans.........if that food your shoving down your gullet had a face....STOP. If it came from something that had a face....STOP.
