Ben Stiller At The Oscars: Has Joaquin Phoenix Become the Laughing Stock of Hollywood?
Since we decided to look out for Joaquin Phoenix news, many of you might have seen Ben Stiller do an impersonation of him during the Oscars Sunday evening.
I thought it was great and funny, especially the way Stiller nailed down Phoenix's antics from the David Letterman show, while throwing in the bit about retiring.
Check out the YouTube clip:

I think it's ridiculous how much Joaquin Phoenix has changed. What the hell happened to him?
He's a damn lunatic. Hey, Joaquin, shave that awful beard, comb your hair, and start acting again... unless that is what you're doing now, then, well, good show ol' chap! But really, shave the beard.
let him be
i thynk it wuz shitty of ben stiller to fuk with him that way
Sadly enough.. yes. On the other hand, they still respect him.
He just makes it TOO EASY!
I swear, I still think JP is doing this as an elaborate hoax. It's too good to be real.
If it is real, though, he should never buy from that dealer again.
@ChrisRusso@xanga - i think it is a hoax. at least that's what all the "e entertainment" kind of stuff is saying
it has to be a hoax...he's too brilliant for this
Haha, pricless. I really do think it's a hoax.
i think so considering they haven't made fun of anyone the last couple of months.
Joaquin is an amazing actor but the dude's weird. I'm cool with weird though. Weird amuses me.
@pansybradshaw@xanga - I agree. Its just another example of people jumping on the bandwagon by picking on someone just to get a laugh.
And I saw the interview with Letterman, and one he didn't seem that out of it to me, and two Letterman & Shaffer are both complete assholes. I wouldn't want to talk to them either.
Ben's a comedian, it's his job to make fun. I've always thought there was something about Joaquin--a je ne sais quoi. He's like Colin Farrell but edgier. If he's funny that'll only make him seem warmer like when Madonna did SNL.
