Like many women I shave my legs, underarms, and my bikini area, but there are women out there that do not shave in some, or none of these places on their body. I have this friend name Jane who does not shave her underarms. I feel it is her prerogative and it’s never been an issue for me, but I remember that a couple of years ago she was dating one of my friends and it was for him. They seemed to hit it off when I had introduced them at karaoke one night, and had started what I thought would be a wonderful relationship, but boy was I wrong.
They were hanging out at least three times a week for a month, and then one day when I was hanging with Jane I asked her how it was going with my friend that she had been seeing. She told me that they had stopped seeing one another, and being me I wanted to know why. Jane said that one day when they were messing around he noticed that her underarms were unshaven and he asked her if she shaved them.
She answered no, and then asked him if he had a problem with that. He said no, but then less than a week later he told her that even though he really like her and enjoyed her company, he couldn’t date her any longer because of the unshaven armpit hair. She in return said that she wasn’t going to start shaving them just for him, and told him it was his loss.
I was proud of my friend for standing up for herself, and not wanting to change for this guy. Interestingly enough I didn’t know she didn’t shave her pits. Jane never smelled like BO or anything so it didn’t bother me. I shave my armpits because I was told to do so when I started puberty. I will however, sometimes go a couple of days without shaving (in the winter time) and I don’t smell with hairy armpits. Women in other countries don’t shave their armpits, and they still get men, but I guess it’s the society that we live in that tells men to think that girls with unshaven underarms are gross.
So I ask you guys, would you date a girl that you thought was really nice, always smelled good, but never shaved her armpit hairs? Image Source

Unshaven armpits are like unshaven pussies. They smell bad and the hair gets in your face when you're doing the foreplay.

Other than that I've never really encountered a female who didn't shave, but I suppose if I did it wouldn't be a problem considering I don't shave under my arms.
I prefer the ladies shave their armpits. You don't want to see arm pit hair peeking out of their nice strapless dresses.

I feel like I have to shave my armpits. Not for someone else though, but for me. It just feels better shaven. My legs on the other hand, hahaha. They are such a big area to cover and I'm always wearing pants, my boyfriend only seems me once every two weeks, so I let them grow:P

I shave everywhere, I hate being hairy. I prefer to be less hairy than my boyfriend. But for those who don't, more power to ya! :D
Ugh. I have to shave under my arms, I think its gross if you can see hair. My legs, are another story. I have blonde hair, so even when there is hair on my legs, its unnoticeable. And I'm single, so who really cares loll. As for down there, I keep it clean lmfao.
I see no problem with not shaving. That guy probably is loosing out by giving up just because of that one thing.
Body hair is a turn off for me. I just don't like to look at it. On my partner or on myself.

I don't get the point of shaving. In doing so we are emulating the hairless bodies of prepubescent children--VERY squicky. Also, if a man ever demands that I shave for him, I'll do so...but only if he's willing so shave his legs, armpits, and pubic area. Fair's fair.
