Kirby can also magically contort his yarn body into several different shapes. He can automatically become a car, a parachute and rock. Kirby no longer can puff up and fly like previous games. Each level also has a specific part where Kirby will become something rather large such as a U.F.O, a big race car, and surfing Penguin.
Throughout each level Kirby must collect gems that can easily be lost if he gets hit by a bad guy. Aside from that I have not actually seen how Kirby can die. There is no actual life meter and I will confess to falling off a cliff twice. All that happened was Kirby got moved to the cliff and lost some gems. I'm actually almost positive that this game may not have a game over screen. My only guess is that Kirby cannot lose all the gems or something of that sort.
Overall I cannot really decide whether I like the game or not. It is quite frankly a bizarre game, and a tad bit trippy. I was not expecting this in a Kirby game whatsoever. I won't deny that the game was fairly fun, but I feel like the game itself is far from challenging. Kirby was never meant to be a ridiculously hard game, but I will say that some levels that I've played in other Kirby games did have their challenging points, and you could definitely die if you ran out of life.
Have you played Kirby's Epic Yarn?
