Cursing is a pretty big hobby of mine. Obscenities were not a taboo in my household whatsoever while I grew up. I frequently heard my brothers (4 and 9 years older than me) drop curses, especially the F-bomb. And despite my parents telling them to watch their mouths, they too sometimes would drop a curse here and there. Needless to say I picked up the habit, although instead of curses I prefer to call them sentence enhancers.
However, I have noticed that my worst cases of cursing are usually while I'm gaming. Dying most certainly cause me to drop curses rapid fire. But it's not just dying, but crappy camera angles, or just a mere mistake that can trigger my "dirty" mouth. I know I'm not alone in this issue. Gaming really can cause some anger.
But here is the odd thing about me. When it comes to gaming I have a go to word that I tend to use the most. The F-bomb is my second favorite to use, and I tend to combine it with my go to word. But my go to word is in fact the one word that is usually considered to be the most vile. The C-word. Yep.
Personally, I've never had a problem with that word. It's actually my favorite curse in the English vocab. I use it outside my gaming, but I tend to literally call everything the C-word, including enemies, in video games. Most recently I was having a slight problem on a level in Epic Mickey. It was the first time I had any real issue trying to do something so severe frustration was starting to set in.
I dropped the C-word rapid fire at least seven times. Apparently I sounded so angry my boyfriend was slightly "scared". Normally he doesn't even blink when I spout off that word, but I don't think I've ever repeated it like that before. I'm guessing it was the tone of my voice. After all, he tends to drop that word during gaming as well.
But it has gotten me thinking: Am I the only one that tends to stick to one specific word while gaming or do other people do it?

I tend to curse while I drive... That's my main area of cursing.
For gaming, I curse then, too. My second area of cursing. I curse most when I do something wrong. Like in AC (I'm on the first one, because I want to get practice in before I mess up my boyfriend's game on AC:B), when Altair does something I didn't tell him to, I usually go for a line of words :: "Fucking idiot! I didn't fucking tell you to do that! Goddamnit!" is a phrase I just used recently, for I had desynchronized like 3 times in a row due to crappy climbing skills (and Altair doesn't listen well). also used "Asshole" "Fucktard" "Kill him, fucker!" "I said stab, bastard, not hug (also called tackle)!" As you can tell, I use the F-word a lot. I also talk to Altair, instead of yell at myself, like it's his fault for messing up.
Yeahhh, I definitely have dropped a few f-bombs during my gaming endeavors. Nothing pisses me off more though than when a glitch causes me to have to turn off my console and start over. I've lost track of how many times I've become stuck inside a random rock or staircase while playing the Fallout series.
@xoxoAngel_of_Musicxoxo@xanga - I still don't get why they can't fix the glitches in those games. My bf is playing New Vegas and has been having issues a lot. I just wouldn't have the patience.

oh my god YESSS. Lol me and my friends were waiting for a movie to start, so I whipped out my DS to kill time. Well I jumped the wrong way *or something. Can't remember* and died. I furiously cursed under my breath and then punched my friend in the leg as hard as I could a couple times. He was like what the hell was that for?! I said I just died! I am angry and obscene while gaming X) I don't have a go to word, but I do have some fun phrases...
