  • Angry Sex Is A Problem Solver

Ah, a late spring Friday evening. It's the perfect time for a night out with your significant other, or to head out to a party and go trolling for some action. Of course, we also know that Friday night's alright for fighting - which brings me to yet another end-of-the-work-week sex question.

Let's assume you've become involved in some sort of argument with your girlfriend / boyfriend. The reasons for it could be anything, ranging from little annoyances to relationship threatening issues. Maybe you have to repeat yourself constantly because your S.O. doesn't listen to you, or maybe it's as simple as two people coming off a frustrating work week and you both end up taking it out on each other. Obviously, there are plenty of effective ways to deal with said issues. Talking them out is probably the most reasonable one, but there are others. Going out for a run helps blow off steam, and spending quiet time apart can often help. But there's one option that will always benefit both parties.

Hate fucking, or angry sex. Your initial reaction to this might be, 'Why would I want to sleep with someone when I'm angry with them?'. It's a valid point, certainly. People who are pissed off with one another are generally not inclined to strip naked and do the nasty. But let's think about it another way.

Sex feels good for both parties, engages the pleasure center of the brain, doesn't necessarily involve talking (which is probably a good thing if a nasty argument precluded the sex act), is good exercise, and replaces the strained emotional connection of the argument with a strong physical connection. Besides, after taking some time away from arguing to make each other feel good, it's much more likely that you'll be able to resolve your problems.

Of course, this has to be something both parties want to do, otherwise it'd be considered rape, and that is absolutely not what I'm talking about here. I'm thinking of sex as a form of couples therapy. It can replace calm or heated discussions, and can actually prevent terrible things from being said, provided the angry sex achieves its goal.

At the very worst, even if the problem isn't totally solved, you've had a little bit of fun in the meantime. So next time you find yourself in a screaming fit with your S.O. - drop your pants and see what happens. You might find all that frustration you keep clenched up in your butt cheeks finding its way to a happy release.

Have you ever tried having angry sex?
