  • Time-Wasters: Remi Gaillard Videos

Remi Gaillard is a thirty-something-year-old guy in France who loves to play soccer and pull pranks. He became notable on YouTube when he began posting his recorded stunts, some of which have gotten him arrested. He's basically the party animal cousin to Improv Everywhere.

Remi's motto is “It's by doing whatever that one becomes whoever.” And it's easy to see that he lives by this credo to the fullest in his videos, as he isn't afraid to go overboard and shake the prissy sensibilities of his bystanders. Here's a video of one of his more famous pranks, wherein he trashes a “party” store with an entire mob of accomplices:

Notice the cameraman wearing the Mario costume. Remi reuses that outfit in another video, wherein he recreates Mario Kart on the streets of France, much to the dismay of law enforcement and fellow drivers. The guy is an absolute maniac, but I get a jolt of guilty pleasure from watching his videos.

What do you guys think of Remi Gaillard?
