What Was Your First Anime?
I know someone probably posed the same question to Mancouch, but I figure it's worth a try posting. Everyone has one, a series or movie that got us into anime. Whether it be Astro-boy or some of the old series, one has a spot in our hearts, opening the door to other great series. For me, Voltron started my love off though, at the time, I thought it came from America. Later, (90s), going to my first convention, which I enjoyed.
Which anime did you get your feet wet on?

Yu Yu hakusho was the first anime i ever got into through the story.

my VERY first anime was sailor moon. Haha.
Pokemon! Jesus, I loved that when I was a kid. Haha. The new series isn't up to par, however. Digimon was awesome too.
The very first? I can't say. I watched Studio Ghibli films (Nausicaa, Tonari no Totoro, Laputa, Porco Rosso, etc.) nonstop when I was really young though, then moved on to actual series in grade school.
Mmm it was either Sailor Moon or Transformers.
