Lately I've been writing a lot about pr0n. Why shouldn't I? It generates page views, sparks discussion, and people seem to like reading about it. Hmm, beats me! So, here is another post about pr0n to satisfy that pr0n post hunger!
I came across a post from TheTheologiansCafe a couple weeks ago concerning pr0n. TheologiansCafe dished out an anecdote, "I was in Tech school in the military and I was walking down the hall and into the 'Day Room' and a bunch of guys were watching a pr0n movie. It was the very first pr0n movie I had ever seen... One thing that struck me on that day was that the guys were all sitting around watching pr0n together."
To think of a group of hairy, grown men sitting in a lounge watching pr0n, as if they were watching an episode of Lost, also strikes me. It strikes me as weird. Perhaps I'm a close minded individual but I would never watch pr0n with my friends. It's awkward enough watching sex scenes in movies. Imagine watching full blown out pr0nography with a whole slew of people. How does this situation even arise?
Is talking allowed while watching pr0n? What can even be said?!
"Hey, that guy has a monster dick!" "Wow, look at her gag!" Do you laugh awkwardly? What happens when someone gets a woody?

I think watching porno with other people, especially guys, is fucking stupid. The only time I might condone it is lovers trying to spice things up.
I've done this once back in the day with some of my boys in high school, even though it didn't last longer than 10 minutes-it was a bit akward given the fact that guys use it to get off
LOL - I have no idea what got my friends into watching/listening to it one time, but after the rest of us realized what a few of our friends were doing, we all huddled around the same TV. Mind you, I was probably the only girl in that group of friends at the time, but was still considered one of the guys (considering how tomboy I was/am), yet there we were. Simply listening to the pr0n, because the original set of people who discovered the channel, could not get a picture to show. Pure static image, but clear as day audio.
One thing we discovered: Pr0n is REALLY funny to listen to if you take away the visuals. Everyone just laughed at how corny the lines were.
I can't say it'd be the same today. We were in high school back then and were just a bunch of nerds who found games more interesting, so this listening of pr0n was more whatever to us. I think it would've been a different story had their been clear visuals, then it'd be more weird for each of us.

I do remember a most humorous college experience, involving a group of homophobes.
Earlier on in the evening they were drunkenly harassing an openly gay student, then later that same night, they were all gathered around a tv watching some hardcore porn together.

It depends on the porn itself. I mean sitting around watching some hardcore shit is weird. But we've sat around (as a group of guys sometimes, but most times there were a few girls there too) and watched like skinemax level porn because its hilarious. Things like Lord of the G-strings.

watching foul or horrifying pr0n in a group usually sparks a good response... but its alot better when there are a few women present, mostly because it's entertaining to watch surprise and shock flood the faces when willy wonka movie time turns out to be "Taboo" double feature

when p0rn is treated as a comedy, then it's funny. if people start getting turned on midway through, it ends up looking like a car race at the arcades.

yeah a friend of mine - actually a coworker; has a crush on me and suggested watching porn together. While I have no problem with watching porn I don't want to lead this girl on being that I don't like her at all like that.
I used to watch my parents porn stash with my sister when I was like 9. HAhAHA! Anyways, a lot of friends I've met watch porn together. I never have but I watch with my bf sometimes. A lot of the time though it feels uncomfortable especially knowing he's getting turned on by someone else and I am too. Just weird. I'd rather watch alone.

What's really awkward is when you're at a friend's house, and her boyfriend lives with her, but she is out of town so the boyfriend is just kind of "watching" the house for her and he invites you and your potential boyfriend (I say potential because he wasn't my boyfriend at the time) over and your potential boyfriend's sister who is also your best friend and his other friend and his other friend's girlfriend and he decides to turn the channel to one of those late night HBO movies and you are all just sitting there watching these naked actors/actresses get it on. I just kept thinking to myself.. dang I bet my (potential) boyfriend feels really awkward, his sister is sitting right next to him!
I like the idea of watching porn with JUST my boyfriend, but I think if it actually came to that, I would be kind of hurt knowing that some other chick is turning him on. Besides, I feel guilty watching porn, I love my boyfriend and he's all I need. :)
However, I do know that him and his friends have watched actual porn on the internet together, because they talked about something funny that happened in a video once. I just think that's weird. I mean a lot of straight guys are homophobes, you'd think that'd make them feel gay if they were watching porn together....
I think it's best to watch it alone or with the opposite sex, never with the same sex.
I have done this when very, very drunk. Though honestly we weren't watching real porn, we were watching Girls Gone Wild(terrible decision). Though there was a girl there commenting on what the girls in the video looked like and making fun of them.
