Music I Miss: She Blinded Me With Science
I've tried this segment before. Let's try it again. Hopefully it works better this time. On to the matter at hand ...
Ok, so I don't totally miss this song, but I kinda do. See, I'll admit it's not a very good song. It actually kinda sucks. But something about it appeals to me. There is this weird underlying love I have for this song. For example, I would never listen to this song, but randomly throughout any given day I might yell out "She blinded me with science!" There's just something endlessly fun about saying that. It's right up there with "That's so batman" as one of my favorite random expressions.
Go ahead, give it a try. Say it in tune. Fun isn't it? Sure the song sucks, but that doesn't matter because it gave us a greater gift. It's just incredibly silly in such a wonderful way.

this song rocks. or...something. whatever it does, it's defnitely got that swing. the crazy accents, exaggerated enunciation, and archetypal super colored 80s production totally make it one for the ages.
Okay, I have to say that I do have this on my mp3 player, and I agree that it sucks, but it has got to be one of my favorite songs to show people. >_< They all think I'm nuts, but I think it's funny.

This song is from the 80's, therefore automatically better than most anything. That it also epitomizes 80's pop music makes it even better. You'd have to go all Safety Dance to get more 80's.

I love this song. I just listened to it on youtube over the weekend. That and "Come On Eileen" by Dexies Midnight Runners. Classic.
