Last week we did TV shows, this week we'll do movies. And then at the end we'll list all the winners. Here's how it works. I will give you 10 nominees in each category for best of the decade. Then you vote and in the end your votes will be counted and tallies and we will declare a winner.
For the movies we're going to add an additional wrinkle. You can name up to 3 movies in your vote as long as your present them ranked from one to three. If they aren't ranked, I'll rank them for you. It's very simple.
Here are your nominations for best movie drama of the decade:
1) Eternal Sunshine For The Spotless Mind
2) There Will Be Blood
3) Almost Famous
4) The Dark Knight
5) The Departed
6) Gladiator
7) No Country For Old Men
8) The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
9) Memento
10) Brokeback MountainWhich of these is the best movie drama of the decade?

Memento
Momento. Def.
Gladiator: its a classic movie in the same ranks as epics such as Ben-Hur and Sparticus.
Gladiator was a drama? Meh, I guess. I'd count most of those movies as action flicks, though. A little more subtle than your run-of-the-mill, shoot-em-up types of movies, but action flicks at the core.
I guess I'll say Almost Famous, Brokeback Mountain, and then Gladiator.
A lot of these are not dramas......
and Departed and Dark Knight ...out of these...even though there were other great ones
ETERNAL SUNSHINE!!!!
Eternal Sunshine
Gladiator
The Departed
There Will be Blood
LTOTR!!!!!
Departed, Pan's Labyrinth, and Eternal Sunshine. (You should have included Pan's)
I love this movie! When she was bugging him on the bus, it was hysterical!
the departed. dark knight was great too.
lord of the rings trilogy.
Who chose this list? There are a lot of good ones left out.
Eternal Sunshine.
Although I wish Little Miss Sunshine was on the list. that was pretty amazing too. But it's alright.
Wasn't Requiem for a Dream in the 2000's? That was an amazing drama.
you might as well remove 1-3, 8, and 10. those movies either sucked or just werent good enough to be concidered the best of something
1.eternal sunshine of the spotless mind(best original drama screenplay)
2.LOTR trilogy(best visual effects and best supporting actors-smeagol and his twin
)
3.the dark knight(best badass drama with the bus hijacker joker)
I haven't seen the other ones listed to choose them.
1. Almost Famous
2. The Departed
3. The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
gg, that fucking looked like tonks and lupin bc i didn't know the movie at first looool
LOTR FTW
so tough! 3 of my fav movies in that list...
the departed!
I'd have to say Memento for sheer originality. Dark knight was great, but it was just well executed, not original. Gladiator was great until the end, because the ending was so bad it was like getting kicked in the nuts right before you ejaculate. I enjoyed the Departed, but they didn't give enough credit to Infernal Affairs, the Chinese movie they based it on.
1. Lord of the Rings Trilogy
2. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
:) Loved them the most! There are many good ones on your list though...
