This time of year the TeeVee is filled with Christmas movies and specials. In fact, one of them is particularly important to me as it is a major part of my Christmas tradition.
Every year on Christmas I was the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version of Santa Claus Conquers The Martians. It's a classic.
Other people lean more to A Charlie Brown Chistmas or It's a Wonderful Life. But for me it's Santa Claus Conquers The Martians. Followed closely by the It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Christmas special released this year and Santa's Slay.
Santa's Slay is a hilarious horror comedy where Santa (played by Bill Goldberg of WWE fame) is actually the sone of Satan put under a 1000 year curse forcing him to give out presents and now the 1000 years is up! Fantastic. It also stars Emilie de Ravin who I know some of your are quite fond of.
Here's the trailer:
A good time had by all.
But you probably have favorite of you own, different movies and specials that are important to you in some way. Your own traditions.
What's your favorite Christmas movie/special?

Christmas Vacation. I love the Griswolds.
A classic by any measure, is "Opus and Bill: A Wish For Wings That Work". It's a christmas special based on the comic strip characters in Bloom County. It's been a family favorite for my clan for years.
Home Alone.
THE MUPPET'S A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
a very sunny christmas was hilarious of course, but you can't mess with the classics. i've been loving that shit since i was like 5.I try to watch as many low budget, made-for-tv Christmas movies as possible every year, they are so funny and sappy. "One Magic Christmas" with Harry Dean Stanton as the dark angel is pretty entertaining. He brings a dead woman's family back to life in the end. "A Christmas Carol" with George C. Scott is one of the best versions.
Oops, I just ruined the ending for you. Sorry.
HOME ALONE, HANDS DOWN!
haha i kind of want to watch that video now!
i like all the christmas movies that i've seen, but i'd have to say that my all time favorite is the year without a santa claus. ( heat miser and snow miser.=] ) i never get tired of watching that one or hearing the songs. (: "I'M TOO MUCH! DUH DUM DUM DUM."
Mickey's Christmas Carol.
If you haven't watched it, you haven't liveddd! o:
KISS SAVES CHRISTMAS!!!!!! LOL
@supaflychikn@xanga - I freakin' love that movie.
24 Hours of "A Christmas Story". From start to finish. It's even on while I sleep. It's a tradition a cousin of mine started and even though we don't spend the holidays together anymore because we've grown up, we still watch it seperately and keep the tradition going. And.... of the 12 times I watch it on Christmas, I never get sick of it.
i like a christmas carol!
I still love Nightmare Before Christmas!
I swear I watch it every Halloween and Christmas (^â–½^)
ELF.
I still like Charlie Brown best.
@Ricardo98@xanga - "A Christmas Carol" with George C. Scott is my favorite! The song in the credits is rapidly becoming my favorite Christmas carol, too.
