Someone I know is a flaming furry.
"What's a furry", you ask? A furry is a person who meets at least one of the following criteria (usually both):
(1) The person often wears a full-body costume with an animal motif, and/or (2) the person has a fetish for personifications, which are illustrations of humanoid representations of animals, usually pr0nographic in nature.
These same people gather together wearing suits that give them the appearance of these creatures. They claim that it's not all about the anonymous zoophiliac sex, but it is. It so totally fucking is.
On to the next question you may be asking, "Does 'flaming furry' mean what I'm afraid it does?" Unfortunately, yes, it does.
To express his sad furryness, he often speaks openly (to me and my other friends) of his experiences at a yearly furry convention held somewhere in Pennsylvania, and sometimes prints up images he finds online to share with us.
However, his latest antic has me concerned. Little did I realize, there is actually a magazine for furries. That's right, enough of these guys were able to get together in one place to decide to publish one of these things. How did I come to realize this? He brought this magazine with him to show us at a public gathering.
I can't decide whether to allow him to express himself in a way that makes him happy and endure some embarrassment, or let him know that he's going too far, and there are things that a person should keep to himself. Or maybe I should just be happy that the heat's off me and whatever the hell it is I'm into.
I don't know who you are or what you get off to, but unless you're a furry, you can find solace in the fact that there's always someone at least five times sicker than you.
What should I do?
Mancouch Says: We would like to say that we flagrantly disagree with the author's position on furries being "sick." We take a very strong "whatever floats your boat" position on ... well, whatever floats your boat. That said, we posted this anyway because we think furries are hilarious. Oh, and just let your friend be who he is. He's not hurting anyone, he's just having a good time and making life a little more entertaining for the rest of us.
