Cartoon Nostalgia Week
(Source)
Last week, we here at the couch decided to try something new. We had a week long series going focusing on shamelessly ogling celebrities.
Since that was somewhat successful (depending on how you look at it), we're going to try that again, this week. Except we have a slightly classier, yet equally shameless topic. Cartoon Nostalgia Week.
Everyday at 9 am we're going to take a look at another cartoon from days of yore. So, it's barely clothed women and exploiting nostalgia. At this point you might as well call us vh1.
Still, it'll be fun.
Do you have any suggestions for cartoons for us to look at?

Rocko's Modern Life!!!!!
Recess!
So, I love when Vh1 exploits nostalgia, the naked women I can do without.
@HippocreneQueen@xanga - LOOOOVVVEEEEEDDDDD that show. :0)How about Doug and Daria? Those would be good ones to look at
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Recess, Pepper Ann? Also, I know it isn't a cartoon, but it was a big part of most of our childhoods: Power Rangers. The original, fuckdammit, none of that mindfuckery that is on today.
Transformers - the old cartoon series, Astro Boy, Captain Planet, etc
angry beavers..i am weasel..dexters labratory..animaniacs!!!!
Freakazoid!! Lol
HEY ARNOLD FTW
@Reckless - I second that Captain Planet suggestion! XD
Animaniacs, the Pinky and The Brain spinoff, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Batman: The Animated Series... oh and Johnny Bravo.
Rocko's Modern Life is a very good call.
Also, Hey Arnold. It came out when I was in fourth grade, and Arnold was in fourth grade, and I remember thinking that that was very, very cool.
Freakazoid was awesome. Cosgrove is the man.
Freakazoid, Hysteria, Ren & Stimpy, Doug, Rugrats, X-Men, Spiderman, animated Batman series, Earthworm Jim, The Tick, Dexter's Laboratory, Cow & Chicken, Ahh Real Monsters, Johnny Bravo, What a Cartoon Show, Clone High,
and Arthur...Ziggy Marley had an infectious opening theme, and Arthur was a anthropomorphized animal of a species I couldn't recognize.
This long list could either mean I remember a lot of trivial things or that a bulk of my childhood was spent wasted in front of the telly.
if you don't do Sailor Moon, i'll die. haha
ohh, Captain Planet too <3
@wired_cynic@xanga - wasn't he an aardvark ?! i remember they had a cool song to go along with the spelling of the word .. "A A R D V A R K " <3 haha :) x
Digimon, Pokemon, YuGiOh, Invader Zim, Doug, Angry Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life, All That, Dexter's Laboratory, Power Puff Girls.
