Stevie Wonder - Superstition
Holy crap! This video is live on Sesame Street. Who knew Sesame Street used to be so badass? I know they often get musical guests, really good ones. But usually they change the lyrics somewhat for the show and it's not just a straight up performance. I don't think I've ever wanted to live on Sesame Street so much in my life, even when I was a kid. Wow. This video is so batman. Pure Awesome Sauce.
Did you know Sesame Street was this badass?

I remember when it didn't suck...
Now the cookie monster eats vegetables, right? How awful.
Who doesent love Superstition?
I learned who Smokey Robinson was via Sesame Street. He sang the great great song You Really Got a Hold On Me, but he sang it with an anthropomorphized letter U trying to grab him ala U Really Got a Hold On Me. Funny. Educational. Great song.
Oh for the days when they didn't lipsync. Freakin amazing performance! Thanks for posting this.

Love Stevie, Love Superstition.
I remember when Sesame Street had the Spin Doctors on the show.
That saxaphonist's shirt is amazing. Thanks for posting this gem. Makes me want to get my turntables out of storage.
Friggin' sweet song.
Well, Sesame Street has just turned 40, and 35 years ago, Stevie Wonder was the hottest act alive. One time on the Cosby show, the family visited Stevie Wonder in the recording studio. When they walked in, Stevie was jamming on "Little Old Man" a novelty record by Cosby in the '60s. Of course, "Little Old Man" was a ripoff of Stevie's "Uptight". I don't know how many viewers got the joke, but I cracked up.
