  • Ladies, Please Wear Skirts

You know, one of Joe's recent posts got me thinking. Firstly, I must commend him on his absolute rightness. The t-shirt/underwear combo is grounds for an epic win, ladies. Of course, for guys, getting to see you in such attire suggests one of a few things has occurred.

    A.  You're already lovers.
    B.  You're about to become lovers.
    C.  On a warm summer day, you eschew pants for the brisk feeling of the wind between your legs.

No matter the reason, rest assured that the man who sees you in such a state appreciates what you're doing for him. However, since this is generally not acceptable public dress, there is at least one tried and true piece of clothing that will most certainly get a guy worked up: the skirt.

Girls, you have fantastic legs. No doubt about it. They're shapely and smooth and if any guy fails to notice that, well, he's a moron. There is no better way to show those off than with a nicely tailored skirt. It doesn't matter if it's a mini, has a slit up one side, or is just plain and elegant -- the right skirt will do your body justice. So long as you avoid active air vents, it manages to be both sexy and modest, showing off your God given gifts without giving away too much.

Besides, there's nothing wrong with showing off now and then.

What kind of clothing would make you give a girl a second look?

Definitely skirts, tight jeans (since there's nothing better than a great ass), and pretty much just the girl's over all attitude in the first place.

Haha, judging by the first and third picture, the word "modest" doesn't exactly leap to mind! ...only teasing

I don't like skirts and I don't think I've worn one in at least 3 years. They're so annoying.

  • HisKeiki@xanga

I love skirts. And dresses. But I dont wear the following: tops where my boobs fall out, jeans so tight I cant move, shorts that [literally] show my butt, and those itty bitty skirts. The only case in which I would dress that "sexy" would be for my guy. at home.

  • ChocolateCoveredKittens@xanga

Don't forget to pair those delicious skirts with heels! That's what REALLY makes your legs look like they go on and on and on...!

  • snapeful@xanga

I love pencil skirts -- the tight, high waisted ones? They're good for work but they soooo outline a girl's hips and waist~~

I have an extreme weakness for girls in dresses. :x

lol, I'll wear something because it makes ME feel good, not so that I can be eye candy.

My husband and I were walking to his college a few days ago. I noticed her first (being the "guy" in the relationship). This girl walking in front of us was wearing a shirt that reached just below her crotch (for want of a better word). And... nothing else? It looked like she was doing the shirt and undies combo in public. Without tights or anything. We stared at her the whole way, trying to figure out if she had anything underneath. I mentioned it would be pretty daring if she wasn't wearing any undies either. My husband said he'd do that if he were a girl.

Finally, right near the school, the girl reached over to get her id.. and pulled the shirt up to reveal tiny, tight shorts.. and pulled the id from the butt pocket.

    And that's my story.

Skirts are cute, when done correctly.  I think you can either look like a mennonite or a streetwalker, it all depends on the skirt.

  • soyeahthatswhathappened@xanga

i was expecting this to be some sexist "let me objectify you" post, but it was actually not. i kinda want to wear a skirt now.

  • xjadersx@xanga

Lately I have become less tom boyish and I have begun to love skirts. They do make me feel really self-conscious and I always feel like I'm showing too much skin even when the skirt goes basically to my knees. Slowly but surely I am learning to love skirts. On a hot summer day they are amazing. As long as they don't show your ass cheeks then they are appropriate.

  • LaChienne88@xanga

I like skinny jeans, but I generally do not like skirts unless leggings are underneath.

  • LaChienne88@xanga

@soyeahthatswhathappened@xanga - That is what I thought at first, but I was wrong.

  • MiaJoyTheWriter@xanga

I love wearing skirts because they make me feel more feminine and Joel loves me in them. But it's too cold to wear one anymore, until March. :(

  • Kriztina_Avelyn_Sandai@xanga

Slutty, stupid women deserve to be raped. Smart women know what to wear, how to wear and where to wear.

  • JoeytheGenie@xanga

    what about shorts?
running shorts? - my prefered choice of bottoms

  • Meowmeowkimmaee@xanga

    I like skirts and sundresses.

  • IronicBox@xanga

I don't like wearing skirts at all. They fly up, they're uncomfortable, they require my legs being super smooth which even when I've shaved and lotioned them they aren't, and they make it where I can only sit in certain ways. :P I haven't worn one since I was thirteen and I don't plan to wear them ever again. :P I do like them on other girls though especially if I'm dating said girl it looks hot.

    Sundresses are my kryptonite XP

  • supaflychikn@xanga

@Littoface@xanga - i hate when that happens. i don't think i'd ever go out in public like that, but for instance when i lived in dorms and i had to walk to the bathroom, i'd hate it if my pj shirt was too long and made me look like i wasn't wearing pants. very self conscious, i'd hate to go out in public like that.

@Kriztina_Avelyn_Sandai@xanga - i love denim mini's and booty shorts. not sure why, i just feel like i look awkward in anything longer. i'm comfortable looking stupid and slutty and deserving to be raped. uh, come and get it.
  • sexncookies@xanga

I am not a fan of the skirt. I used to be but I think they look funny on me cause I have such short legs....I prefer wearing dresses and even then I am a little self conscious. I usually try to wear a wedged sandal or a heel if I am wearing a dress to try and lengthen the look of my legss....

And it has to be the correct length (preferably the mini dress) because of my short frame....ugh I wish I was 5'7...thats the perfect height to me.

I think whats sexy are a good pair of shorts and heels.

  • BlehhItsTu@xanga

It's too cold and I haven't seen my skirt in a while!!

  • sexncookies@xanga

@Kriztina_Avelyn_Sandai@xanga - wow. did you really just say that girls that are slutty in YOUR eyes..deserve to be raped??? wtf? you are fucked up in the head. No girl no matter how she chooses to dress deserves to be raped. Everyone has the right to dress how they like when they choose. This is no means gives the okay for any man to take power over her and, in my opinion, force such a horrible act upon her.

It may cause men to look at her more and want what she has got but she doesnt deserve anything. It has nothing to do whether or not she is intelligent or not. Rape is about POWER and nothing else. It can happen to ANY girl. By you posting this comment it demonstrates how ignorant and corrupted YOU are.

See, if I were like you I'D most likely respond by wishing some sort of harm upon you. But, I have wayyyyyyyyyy more class.

    have a great day

  • blazintommyd@xanga

well you know what I Love already. The first really nice days in NYC can't be beat just to see gorgeous women working that skirt walking at a brisk pace with long perfectly proportioned legs, magnificently strong nicely pedicured feet in almost nothing heeled sandals. The contrast of the pure, fresh pristine smoothness and beauty of the feet with Lovely painted nails just gliding off the filthy sidewalk is just so indescribably awesome ... I could hang out at a convenient sidewalk bistro table and enter into most fabulous state of magical reverie ... sigh
