Why It's Okay To Love Christian Bale
Ah, Christian Bale. He's known far and wide for playing tough guys like Batman and John Connor, and for having a particularly bad temper on the set. But, can you blame him? Take a look at the video above and then ask yourself - how is this man not brilliant? How could anyone dare encroach on his incredible artistic talent?
Face the facts people. Anyone who can portray a person as deranged as Patrick Bateman with such raw enthusiasm and complete believability must have some serious acting chops. Bale manages deliver the perfect storm of a person: intelligence, attractiveness, impeccable taste in music and an insatiable desire to (inventively) kill! And he can still enjoy a good cigar afterwards.
It is because of this scene, and this scene alone, that I can forgive Bale for his often less-than-stellar attitude and that intensely gruff Batman voice of his.
Can you forgive Bale his shortcomings after seeing this scene?

Man, that movie (and book) was fucking awesome.
The man obviously has a bit of talent (TRY GETTING YOUR RESERVATIONS NOW AT DORSIA YOU FUCKING STUPID BASTARD!), but I just wish he could get help for those anger issues of his. Not good and not healthy. :\
And not to mention he played Jack Kelly in the musical, Newsies. *swoons*
Bale is brilliant indeed, but this is also no excuse to be an abhorrent person. Excellent actor, but not one I would enjoy having lunch with.

I absolutely adore Christian Bale. He has been my favorite actor since "Newsies" and "Swing Kids." Not only is he ridiculously hot but an amazing actor as well. =)

One of his best roles. I'm so glad Dicaprio didn't get this role, Bale deserved it. Best line ever: "Sabrina! Don't just stare at it, EAT IT!"

Go and watch "The Machinist". If his physique in that film does not show his dedication, nothing will.
Also, did you hear the techno songs made from his pissy fight while on the set of Terminator. Its great!

Nah, I would be 110% head over heels for Bale if it weren't for his anger issues (which are prolly a little extra scary sounding to us women). But because of them, I'm only at... 99% head over heals. Which is still pretty danged good. So yes, his acting talent and beauty mostly make up for it.
