The Most Unintentionally Gay Commentary in the NFL: Week 7
A few weeks ago I wrote a post about an observation I made while watching football one day and how a lot of the commentary could be interpreted as super gay when taken out of context. Many of you seemed to enjoy it, and so I thought I'd take it for another spin.So when I sat down to watch football last Sunday, I did so with pen and notepad in hand. Here are the flaming comments that I observed.
5. He really handles the ball well
4 He reminds me of when Tiki Barber had trouble handling the ball.
3 What a huge hole!
2 Wow they’ve been going deep on these guys all day.
1. No one is better with the ball in his hands than him.
Enjoy! :: bows ::

Alan Dundes from UC Berkeley wrote a paper on how American Football showcases a latent homosexuality in our society. He received death threats after it was published. It is one of the best papers I ever read as an undergrad.
