  • Nerdy AND Hot? Impossible!

Though it may not seem it sometimes, we really do like women for more than their looks. Interests and personality are at least two-thirds of the picture when we're looking at women we actually like, when we can peel ourselves away from their sexy curves and long, silky hair, that is.

Recently we've had posts that question how normal girls can compete with the dolled up women we see in magazines and pr0n. The truth is this: you can't think about it that way. Those mediums give men the things they like to fantasize about - pictures of wild, sexy women who look like they'd be up for just about anything - even wheelbarrowing. But a guy who allows that image to dictate what he values in a woman is a guy who can't deal with reality.

Which brings me to my point: real women, intelligent, non-airbrushed, nerdy ones, are hot. Even some women we've genuinely accepted as possessing stunning beauty have been outed as down-to-earth nerds.

    Don't  believe me?

I think Mila Kunis sort of grew on everybody. Firstly, she landed her role as Jackie on That 70's Show when she was only 14, after lying to the directors during her audition. So not only does she have balls, but there was a reason for us not realizing she was so awesome until recently - she was pretty much just a kid for the first several years she was in the national spotlight.

Secondly, she's an actress who portrays characters that seem to constantly be the butt of everyone else's jokes. As Jackie, just about everyone found her annoying. As Meg, she's treated like dirt on a daily basis. She must have an excellent sense of humor to be able to play those kinds of roles.

Lastly, she's openly admitted to playing World Of Warcraft. Beautiful, intelligent, funny, AND she plays video games. Can someone please explain to me how she isn't perfect? (Aside from the fact that she's dating Macaulay Culkin?)

At first glance, Jenna Fischer might not seem like your typical nerd/babe. She plays the somewhat quiet, often conservatively dressed Pam on The Office, played supporting roles in comedy films like Blades of Glory, and as it turns out, has also done a bit of writing and directing. By all accounts, she's a well rounded, accomplished woman.

Frankly, if girls are going to worry about who they have to compete with, I wouldn't be so worried about scantily clad models or pop stars. I'd be worried about people like Jenna. Sure, she's a famous actress, but take that away and she's still got the talent to direct, write and, judging by her roles, be funny.

Trust me, smart guys aren't wooed by looks alone. If there's no wit to keep your long, shapely legs upright, good guys won't go for you. But if that certain amount of charm is there, it'll be his knees going weak. Surprisingly enough, there seem to be plenty of ladies with sharp wit lurking around Mancouch these days, so maybe this isn't such a rare phenomenon.

Who are some other hot nerds that you adore?
