Cracked.com's World Without The Internet
Cracked.com (great site, btw, check it out) recently asked their readers to present what our internet addicted world would be like if the internet was turned off in a photoshop contest. They came up with some really great ones.

I like the last one, too. If it wasn't for the internet, all the music and video stores would still be open and charging whatever the hell they want. At least it would get people out of the house though, that's the trade-off. Some people these days wouldn't even be able to find entertainment if they couldn't download the music and stream the movies.

@CheckieEatsOrganicPoptarts@xanga - If that was true then theoretically they would have charged $100's for records back when there was no Internet.
@Pcgecko85@xanga - I never said anything about $100 records, that would be a stretch, just as it is in that picture. But you can't honestly claim that record companies and record stores wouldn't carge you a few bucks more if they could get away with it. CD prices are high and have always been, but they'd be even higher if they didn't have to somewhat compete with cheap or free downloads and online discount sites like Amazon.
