Greetings my fellow couch men.
I'm
Alex, new intern writer/editor for ManCouch (and HardestLevel, for the gaming inclined). I enjoy writing about the more ridiculous aspects of our mundane lives and popular culture, and my scatological humor knows no bounds (though I won't subject you to it unless poop jokes are in high demand).
I really enjoy interacting with readers, so anyone who wants to leave comments or message their thoughts and ideas is strongly encouraged.
A little about me: In my spare time I love to shred on my guitar, read and watch most kinds of science fiction (Star Wars, Battlestar, Firefly, you name it), pwn n00bs in various different ways over the Internet, and make strange psychotic faces for the camera, apparently. My interests range far and wide though, so I've got plenty to talk about and plenty of things to pretend I have an opinion about, like capital gains tax and tomato diseases.
Most of all, I like writing for you guys...and girls. Anything I can do to make you all think, laugh, or drool is well worth it in my book.

@mcmeister89 - go check out lovelyish and see for yourself. unfortunately, the cliche female interests are just in general pretty uninteresting.
@supaflychikn@xanga - I did actually make a quick peek at Lovelyish at your recommendation and holy shit, I see your point. I mean, there were some men on there, but not enough to warrant a "WTF". But when the opening article is "Happy Birthday Zac Efron" and another one is "I Hate My Small Boobs!"... I understand why women come here. Not that mancouch doesn't have its own obvious celebrity sexual obsessions, but at least you don't see a guy posting something like "I Hate My Beer Gut!!!!". Besides, who wouldn't wanna get in on a conversation about Batman vs. Superman?
