Looks like Marge Simpson made the cover of Playboy magazine. I can truthfully say I've not seen a Playboy mag in a great many years, but had Marge been the featured content, I'm thinking I might not have made it out of my teen years without therapy.

"Younger generation?" Really? I recall the models of the 70's being in their young 20's, disliking rude people, liking strolls on the beach and, oh yeah, making some moolah for showing us their Ah-Ha!
Maybe that's changed. The article states that the average Playboy reader is now 35. Maybe the models grew up with the readers and are now suburban moms in their mid-30's who dislike housework, love dinner out at a fancy beach-side restaurant and, oh yeah, making some cash for giving us a flash.
I guess that with the advent of all the technology, the younger generation must now be into CGI, 3-D, Anime, and Graphic Novels. If so, then Playboy may be looking at moving from "real" models (like those gals weren't done-up and their photos weren't airbrushed) to drawings.
But really, Marge Simpson??? Have the young stud's taste in women changed THAT much??
I'm not on Playboy's ad campaign crew or the group who chooses models, but if I were going to go for an animated girl on Playboy, I'd have had Betty Boop and Jessica Rabbit in the finalist round.
One thing IS for sure ... guys aren't buying Playboy for the articles anymore.

I wouldn't buy any Playboy. The models these days suck compared to the ones back in the old 70s issues.
Considering how easy it is to access pornography on the Internet now, I think I actually believe that the average age of Playboy readers is 35. That's really just old enough for them to have grown up with magazines as their primary form of printed entertainment.
Most horny high school boys are probably just as happy to have browser window they can close and evidence they can delete quickly.
As for the Marge Simpson cover, it is sort of weird. Firstly, she's a cartoon, and secondly, she comes across as way too matronly to be considered a sex symbol. If there's some weird Marge fetish, I'm certainly unaware of it.
Now I would only buy a dirty mag to admire the make-up of the 'model.' Playboy must be losing readers in this recession, they have to take drastic measures.

Is this even the first cartoon playboy? didnt laura croft or some other fictional character do this before? Plus, google Jab Comix... nobody does this kind of garbage better than him. Playboy announced its death when they started having cover models who werent even naked on the inside.
I heard on one of those entertainment tonight type shows that the Playboy is just going to have implied nudity. We are NOT actually going to see Marge's boobs and kootch. It's going to be covered.

Overall, to me, this is just stupid and another gimmick for both the Simpsons creators and Playboy to get more publicity in their attempts to get more and more readers. If animation was the way to go for such a gimmick, i mean, damn....Marge? The bastards at Playboy could've at least used, I guess, Jessica Rabbit, since she encompasses more voluptous womanly attributes than Marge. Especially in the voice. That choice would've made sense. Either way, using an animated fictional tv or videogame character for an "enticing" playboy cover is ridiculous.

I'm a subscriber to Playboy, and all I can say is I absolutely love their jokes XD I can't help it but that's how my humor flows. As for the Marge thing, I perceive it as pure comedy. Which does kinda make me sad because not seeing a woman who looks like Brooke Richards does disappoint the bisexual part of my mind

Jessica Rabbit... now thats a pleasant fantasy. Just like all of Playboys' women. To we regular guys, the Playboy world is nice to dream about - Super rich, far away socially, locked behind a high security barrier.
Having a cartoon of a steamy sex-pot, revealed, would be no more real anyway, but so very entertaining!!! (Let's face it guys are visually cued in.)
