Google's "Best Movies of '09"
We've done this twice before. Once for hot women and once for ugly dogs. Now, we're seeing how google does with best movies of the year so far. This is based solely on a google image search of "Best Movies of '09."
Let's count it down.
10) Inglourious Basterds
9) 12 Rounds
8) Transformers 2
7) Taken
6) Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince
(the actual picture from the search was unavailable so I used this one instead)
5) Star Trek
4) Up
3) Adventureland
2) The Hurt Locker
1) District 9
So how did google do? Which movies are in the wrong order? What movies did they miss?

THIS LIST IS BULLSHIT!
they should at least be sporting LESBIAN VAMPIRE KILLERS!!!
Uh, District 9 was great but I don't think it needs to be #1. Whoever made this was obviously a nerd who spends all his free time doing this. -_-
Eh, that list could be better. Google fails at list making.
What are 12 Rounds, Transformers 2, and Taken even doing on this list?
Yeah districk 9 ftw!
district 9* lol
This list is shit, wtf is Transformers 2 doing on there amongst entertaining movies?!?
Move "Taken" and "Up"..up...get rid of Transformers 2 and 12 Rounds, and the list is good.
District 9, I will agree, is #1 especially for Summer Movies.
D9 was absolutely the best movie this year.
STAR TREK SHOULD BE NUMBER ONE!!! I'm bias. LOL. Seriously though, it's the highest grossing Trek movie ever, broke the odd number movie curse &...come on Zachary Quinto & Chris Pine are in it!! XD
Taken, Harry Potter, Star Trek, and District 9 were good.
Star Trek was the best.
A lot of good movies in that list. 2009 was a good year.
district 9 made number one??? real surprise there, i mean i enjoyed watching it and i thought the prawns were pretty cute...but srsly number 1???
Has google even SEEN Adventueland, That piece of crap took me over a week to actually watch fully. It's that BORING.
transformers 2 should not be on here.
UP<3
definitely good movie material (:
but idk if d9 should be number one
Gee, out of all those I've only seen 1 of them, I've heard Star trek is very good.
2009 was a phenomenal movie year. I wouldn't have 12 Rounds or Transformers on there, but D9 was the greatest movie I've seen. Star Trek should have been higher, though I never saw the Hurt Locker. I'll have to check that out.
Harry Potter sucked.
Taken was amazing.
DISTRICT 9!!!
that is all.
Inglourious Basterds, District 9, Zombieland, Taken and Monsters Vs. Aliens (in that order) would be my top 5.
Transformers 2 may have been fun to watch(like in the first half of the movie) but it is still horseshit and certainly doesn't deserve to be on a "Best" list. Even G.I. Joe or Wolverine had more effort to them and I'd rather watch those over and over and over than Transformers. Either one of those should've made that list. Certainly undeserving of that is Transformers 2. At least I didn't see Watchmen on this list. At least.
I need to see Up,and the Harry Potter movie<3
Transformers 2 should not, should NOT, be on that list. It was awful!
HP6 is debatable, they changed/ left out a lot of important parts of the book. Honestly, the Burrow wasn't burned, what the hell?
I definitely agree with most of the others though. District 9 was absolutely amazing.
transformers should be out. so should harry potter. i love my hp, but that movie wasn't the best of the 6.
