Will the Cleveland Show be Any Good?

The Cleveland Show is premiering tomorrow night. It is the latest cartoon from Seth MacFarlane and a direct spin off from Family Guy.
It looks pretty funny, but I don't know. Spin offs never really seem to pan out. Not really a great history of them. It's the third movie of a trilogy of the television world. Also, it seems to have the exact same formula as Family Guy. I mean I like Family Guy and all, but if I want to watch Family Guy, I'll watch Family Guy. Why watch a whole different show to watch Family Guy?
The promos look interesting, but I still don't get how this isn't just black Family Guy. Other than maybe the fact that there is apparently a bear who's a neighbor with a funny voice. I mean, this is about the best preview I could find:

I don't know if I can get on board with this show. I'll give it a shot, but I'm not hopeful. What do you guys think?

no, why did they choose to make cleveland his own show? he's the least interesting character on family guy.

No. If people wanted to see more of Cleveland that bad, they could have had him do more scenes on Family Guy. Waste of money.

My bf & I actually had a pretty in depth discussion about how we thought if they were going to make a spinoff they could have picked a way better character than Cleveland. I really don't think I'll be watching it - although if we're home tomorrow night when it comes on we'll probably watch it just to see what its like.

I'm hoping it will be good, but I'm not sure. A talking dog is okay. But a bear, is that pushing it? But I know I'll watch it anyway, I love Seth MacFarlene.

If they can make it funny besides constant black jokes, it could be worth it.

I'd prefer they kept him on family guy though, instead of making a whole new spinoff series :/

I saw the pilot back this summer. It was terrible.. there was maybe about 5 seconds of laughable material in the whole thing.

It's already been picked up for a second season because I don't know why. I think the black jokes will wear thin... before episode 2.

Family Guy: sight gags and randomness being mistaken for wit. I expect this to be a poorly written show, too, without much, what's that thing called? Oh, plot.

My prediction is that it'll bomb. I couldn't even finish watching that trailer because it's so boring. They need to concentrate on making Family Guy funny-again.

I love Family Guy, but Cleveland is my least favorite character. Why couldn't it have been Quagmire?! lol Now, that would have been a lot better.

Cleveland was a FAIL on Family Guy.
I figure the logic is.....give Cleveland his own show....if its popular, then great.....if it fails...no harm done to Family Guy as Cleveland was irrelevant anyways.

I don't think I'll like this show. Cleveland wasn't even a very popular character on Family Guy. I'd love if Stewie and Brian had their own show! xD
