Most of them are brunettes. I mean, let's face it: HARRY POTTER DOES NOT HAVE JET-BLACK HAIR. Unless we accept that either Lily or James were of mixed Asian heritage, and that their genes were freakishly recessive/oppressive (hey, it's been a few years since biology 100, all right?) and able to transmit jet-black hair to their 2nd-generational "mixed" son.
