Do nerd-loving girls really exist?
I've seen more and more stories of girls that love nerds.
They're actually attractive girls too.
Is this for real?
It sounds like an urban legend.
But then again:
Do you believe that there really exists a trend where hot girls want to date nerds?
Or to put it in a more likely way: is this the world's best time period for a nerd to be alive and dating?

I think it depends on what you mean by "nerd". I like dorks, but I don't like nerds...
i love nerds. im currently dating a huge nerd. i think its the greatest thing ever cause i too play video games, go to monster conventions, collect action figures and looove star wars.
YES!! It is definitely cool to be a nerd. Look at some of the most empowered people in the world right now- Steve Jobs, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Mark Zuckerberg.. all of these "nerds" have grown to be successful and extremely wealthy, which could be attractive to some women. I would just enjoy the conversation :) I just wish it would suddenly become cool for women to be nerds as well.
my girlfriend likes nerds... aka me. but she's not too into the stuff i like, like star trek, star wars, team fortress 2, loads of sci fi books... and definitely not when i read space.com articles to her. :P oh well, you win some you lose some.

Yes, they exist. I am one. But keep in mind: 1) those in the pictures don't look like true nerd-lovers, just the kind that play with them for a while. A true nerd lover is probably a bit of a nerd herself. This does not mean unattractive. 2) Some girls need a little time to grow up and find their inner nerd appreciation. Your odds improve with time. When I was younger I should have looked around a bit more than I did. They were probably hiding somewhere in plain sight. I didn't notice all the awesome nerd guys until I was too old to date many of them.

yes but either the girl in question is not good looking or the nerd in question is good looking. it's called mating habits -- you need good looks to get one.
Are you kidding? I LOVE nerds! There's nothing sexier than a guy that can kick ass at video games or has the periodic table of elements memorized and nerds are almost always hilarious.

We definitely exist and I'm living proof. Although I think it's less a matter of hot girls suddenly becoming attracted to nerds and more that the "nerd demographic" is changing from only including extremely awkward guys to also including said hot girls. As a nerd, I certainly want a guy I can talk to on my level.
