How To Be Manly, Lesson 1: Shake it Off
For some reason I've seen it in all the movies. The man's about to run out on the basketball court...

or go hit on the chick in the corner...

or throw a punch at the big bad guy...

So right before he does it, as his friends are urging him on, he does that shake-it-off move.
You know, that tension-releasing thing where you quickly roll your shoulders and act like you have iguanas clinging to your upper back, and you want to get rid of them. Can you picture it happening in the movies?
I don't often see the shake-it-off move happen in real life, (maybe because i don't hang suspiciously around bars and basketball courts very often...) but it's in all kinds of films.
Reality check: "Shaking is one of the natural ways your brilliant body rids itself of stress. Stress literally gets stuck in the body. Stress hormones, muscular tension and tight shallow breathing stay stuck in the body after even a mildly stressful event. The damaging effects of stress stay stuck in your body unless you have way to clean them out." Find the rest of the article here.
Yes! So now you can look cool and be healthy!
So, if you want to be a manly man, the shake-it-off move is (in my opinion) guaranteed to be masculine. Use it in front of a crowd, and all the sleazy pretty girls will be all over you!

Haha, wow. I shake it off... the whole iguana clinging to my upper back thing. So for a girl... I'm pretty manly huh?
Joking.
lmfao. go sly, you good thing!
Now that you say that...I don't think I've ever seen anyone do that in real life! Only in movies.

I shake all the time. On the other hand, that might not exactly be a sign of good health...
