  • Paper Airplanes: Not a Thing to Toy With!

Remember when you were little and first discovered the wonders of folding a paper airplane? There was something satisfying at transforming a sheet of paper (perhaps your homework?) into a miniature projectile that actually flew when you threw it. Maybe you were reaching out to your inner geek, which still lay dormant inside... or maybe you just thought it was pretty cool.

Either way, this is something most of us grow out of (I tried making a paper airplane a little while ago, and I'm sad to admit... I don't remember how to!).

    Not this guy.

Takuo Toda has a day job, but this 53 year old's passion is... you guessed it! Making paper airplanes. He's written tons of books and developed over 700 of his own designs for paper airplanes. Earlier this year, he beat the world record for longest flight of a paper airplane.

His dream is to have one of his paper airplanes thrown to Earth from outer space. Why? Well... why not? Even a guy who is famoues for paper airplanes has to have a dream.

If you could make a living on one of your childhood activities, which would it be? (I'm here already - writing about video games and guy stuff? It doesn't get much better than this).
