  • Lucy Liu Vs. Rosario Dawson: The Search For a New Mancouch Obsession Tournament

But, I do want to address a controversy that seems to be brewing suggesting that I purposely choose pictures of the higher ranked ladies with fewer clothes on than those of their opponents. I have two responses to this.

One, I just choose pictures from what is available from a basic google image search. You want to spend hours trying to find a picture of Christina Hendricks in a bikini because 5 popped up in the first page for Hayden Panettiere be my guest, but don't blame me for not killing myself over it and instead choosing a picture where Ms. Hendricks looked quite radiant and classy.

And two, if you look back at the past posts in the Tournament (there is a link to the previous match up in each post), you will see that this claim is plainly untrue. Also, just to note, so far I've been rooting for the underdog a majority of the time.

Moving on to today's competition: (6) Lucy Liu vs. (11) Rosario Dawson!

Oh, and just in case you think I'm "favoring" Lucy Liu because her picture shows more skin, here's another picture of Ms. Dawson:

    (6) Lucy Liu is often known as the hottest actress in some random TV show (Ally McBeal, etc.) or movie (Charlie's Angels, etc.) that is filled with other attractive women, but desperately needs her hotness to even be considered remotely watchable (still, usually not). However, I'll always remember her for her guest spot on Futurama. I think its impressive beyond words that she's over 40 and yet is so mind bogglingly hot. She also apparently plays the accordion and is fluent in at least 4 languages. Definitely a multi-talented and interesting individual. That is, if you ever stop drooling.

    (11) Rosario Dawson gets major points for starting her career with a controversial movie (Kids) and even more points for working with Spike Lee, Quentin Tarantino, and Kevin Smith. Also, she's of Puerto Rican, Afro-Cuban, Irish, and Native American descent, which is all kinds of awesome and .... she's a giant geek! How geeky, you ask? She speaks broken Klingon, that's how geeky. I'm not really a Trek fan, but I still think that's awesome.

Both these beauties were born into families that didn't have much in New York and grew to levels of fame and success they had never dreamed of, but only one can advance to the next round. Which one of these ladies is more worthy to be the new mancouch obsession?
