Watching Star Wars should be a requirement these days... but when I ask people these days if they've seen it, they usually assume I'm referring to Episodes 1-3. WTF???
Episodes 1-3 sucked. The original trilogy is where it's at. Even people who have never seen it before are generally able to piece it together.
Ok maybe not. Still, it's part of popular culture especially for guys. A good 10% of my movie quotes are from Star Wars... it boggles my mind that some people haven't seen the movie before. I mean, how is that even possible?
For the record: seeing Episodes 1-3 doesn't count!!! In fact, you lose points for having seen those. So if you haven't seen the original trilogy but you have seen Episodes 1-3, you have negative points.
Please tell me that you've seen Star Wars (the original trilogy) before... right?
I only have the original trilogy on VHS, Special Edition VHS, and DVD, and have only watched it more times than I can recall. I've seen Episodes 1-3 a couple of times (3 only once or twice) and my favorite scenes were NASCAR, pink lightsaber, and BURN HAYDEN CHRISTENSON BURN!!!
Yep, seen 'em all...
I've seen them all, but hey, I thought that girl did pretty good considering she's never seen the movies before!
I agree, original trilogy is where it's at. My dad and I have watched and rewatched them religiously since I was very little.
Sadly I have never seen any of them in whole. I know! I feel like I'm not true nerd but I have never sat down to watch any of them because the small bits of the originals that I have seen were boring out of context. XD
hahahhahhhhhhhh
Ewoks and wookies aren't even from the same planet! >:O
That video was so funny! Couldn't stop laughing.
Star wars is great. goooooo awwwwayyy
Yes I saw the original when I was like four. My parents made my brother and I watch them all. At the time I hated. I mean come on I was four. But now I love Star Wars. I agree 1-3 isn't nearly as good. It just seems as though Lucas had nothing to do and scraped something together...But that's just me.
Seen 'em all. My sister was obsessed when I was a kid.
the reason why some people have never seen it before its because = star wars = nerdy...and watching it makes you "nerdy". Thats why some people have avoided it because of that. It's not nerdy to me..its just the stereotype that comes along with star wars unfortunately.
Star Trek is better.
*shields self*
I consider my discovery of Star Wars as a six-year-old one of the milestones of my life. :]
Ohhh my God I laughed so hard. And yes I've only seen the original trilogy only about a million times... I <3 Star Wars, ahah.
My girlfriend had a chance to watch the originals but this was a long time ago (deciding if should play off of that.... nah. lol) and at the time, other people were talking and she found it boring. She had only some of 4 and 5. I was outraged! Well not really, but I bought the trilogy and we watched them. She loved them. And now she gets all of the random quotes and scenes from Family Guy and Robot Chicken. lol
Speaking of, has anyone noticed that if you watch the digitally remastered version of Return of the Jedi, they have episode 2 and 3's version of Anakin at the end? Ya know, where he's standing with Obi-wan and Yoda? I was like, "Oh, hell naw!" I thought that was a dumb move on Lucas' part. How is Luke gonna know what Anakin looked like before? Nothin but some bull.
LMAO! This totally made my night!
PS. That video was hilarious! She did a good job for having never actually seen them
Wow, she got a lot of things messed up in the timeline.
But it was pretty funny. Now for Episodes 1-3!
Got 'em all, seen 'em all, love 'em all!!!
I'm a huge fan of Star Wars! Any time I have a marathon, it's only the original trilogy. It's like 1-3 don't exist. They add an interesting element to Vader's backstory, but were very poorly executed.

Honestly? Never seen it.
Ignorant people, they are. Indeed.
