Mancouch Needs To ''Man-Up"
Dear Mancouch,
I think it's about time you live up to your name.
Your posts are starting to improve after a brief, but awful, downward spiral. For a while, I was starting to lose faith. I can't remember how many posts there were about Twilight and Robert Pattinson, but I know that even ONE post on these topics is already one too many. This is a site to discuss manly things, which means, Robert Pattinson does not belong here. Why? Because REAL men do not sparkle.
Moving on to the post about male barbies... granted, it's a good laugh, but nobody really wants to look at that. They don't belong here. But you already knew that.
Now, I know there are a lot of ladies that come to this site. Why? Most of the time it's because Lovelyish will never be as entertaining as this site. Sure, we like make-up and cute outfits, but there's only so much frill we can handle. And sometimes it's to criticize the male perspective, but we know you don't really care about what they have to say anyway.
I come to this site to share in the male perspective. My ''mancouch'' is empty until my husband returns from Afghanistan, and I know I'll get honest, shameless opinions from the diverse audience that is mancouch. I want to debate on why a 4-3 defense is better than a 3-4 defense. Not the douchiness of Mr. Twilight. I want to talk about what kind of carburetor is best for my Cobra. Not what eyeshadow looks best on the guy in his girlfriend's pants. I want posts on which sex positions feel the best, which video games have the coolest guns, and which team is going to the Superbowl. I want to learn how to train my dog to get me a beer from the fridge so I don't have miss the game OR the commercials.
I realize that there are a lot of writers on here that post some really insightful things, and I respect that. But when you start a site called Mancouch, there had better be some stereotypical shit.
So, fellow Mancouchers - Am I way off base? Or does Mancouch need to man-up?
Mancouch responds:
Thanks for writing in! We'll pump some posts out on sports, cars, and favorite sex positions for ya. We could use some help though, so hit us up with posts here.
We share your disgust of Twilight/Edward/Pattison... that was actually the point of our three posts bagging on him: that he smells disgusting, that he's a douche, and that he got hit by a taxi. I actually love and support that even that is too much Edward for you.
We'll have to put it to a vote... here are the two options
1) Bash on Edward - An important part of being a man is to bash on Twilight and all things/people Twilight.
2) Ignore Edward - I don't care if Robert Pattinson gets hit by a taxi - I don't ever want to hear about him.

2 please. I try to stay away from topics like that, and I'm a woman. ><
Why would we train our dogs to get our beers for us? We want them to watch the game with us that's what women are for :D
Number 2. Talking so much about Robert Pattinson just makes me think that you are obsessed with him...orjealous of him. And you don't have to like someone to be obsessed with them. Same with anyone who has ever acted on Disney Channel. Otherwise, we can acknowledge that they are beneath us and we can talk about something else. I don't care what it is.
I don't know anything about Twilight except that I'll hate it if I know anything more about it. Therefore I have no information with which to bash on.
And Robert who?
Ignore Edward...it's taking the high road (though sometimes the low road is oh-so-satisfying) and he doesn't even deserve negative attention.
@mynameisblueskye@xanga - i totally agree. you're only giving them more exposure by publicly hating on them.
Completely agree... and no more Edward!
hmm when we first had TV on ships..navy... you might be surprised at what favorite shows were,(these were all male ships at the time) our tv was on the messdecks and the most favorite type of programs were not sports or anything mainly revolving around a curvaceous woman bending over ..sighs... lol they were of the nature of either soaps (days of our lives, one life to live etc.etc.etc) lol or ... you guessed it.. cartoons. im a man and can talk about any subject if i so choose. soo man up, grow a set of balls, and you, sweet lady, can too...
@Kevin_is_a_pirate@xanga - Those are dangerous words, bud.
2.
@Kevin_is_a_pirate@xanga - *playful punch on the arm* LOL!!!! I dont mind getting my man a beer (wait, he doesnt drink, so a water or gatorade) but I dont wanna miss the game either!
I agree, I suscribed to Mancouch to get some male perspective insight, and of course to bash on some man talk, and to learn whats going thru some guy's head.
do not remind me of anything Twilight, let's just not talk about it at all please and thank you

2, and if you could filter out posts by women, that would be great. Kind of ruins the point of the male perspective if women are the writers?
haha this post made me smile, especially option 2. (:
ignore.
More beer and boobs now!
@nolan_kun@xanga - WORD
@Sunshine08x21@xanga - Those words are only "dangerous" because "MAN"-couch is overrun by oversensitive women. Who are slowly changing this place into dating-ish's younger downsyndrome having brother.
haha definitely, stop making wimpy posts directed to women. time to grow a pair!
Even the mom posting here is more manlier than most men on xanga hah ;p
2, PLEASE.
2.
real men don't practice democracy and leave decisions up to the masses.
2.
I hate typical shit. But I'm going to go with 2 as well.
i agree :)
and dont bash on edward.
its not something mancouch would do.
or should be doing.
...is this a serious post?
A simple google search would easily bring up multiple sites explaining why a 4-3 defense is better than 3-4, same thing goes with the superbowl.
If she wants to know which carburetor is best for her Cobra she can just ask the automotive technician or mechanic (depending on which term you prefer) working at Jiffy Lube, Schucks, or anywhere else.
Each sex position feels different for each person and it's all in the matter of experimenting with your boo.
If you subscribe to Playstation's, Xbox's, or simply just sign up for a community forum about shooters you'll find out almost everything there is to know about the latest and best games available and upcoming.
As for the dog... you're on your own because one of my dogs died years ago and the other ran away >:(
