What I don't get is... what was his backup plan? What was he gonna do if he didn't land in the giant bucket of water?
I didn't see any padding or cushions around the water... in fact, it's on a hard wood platform. He was literally in the air for four full seconds! If he missed that bucket by even a few feet, he probably would've broken every bone in his body!
Props to this guy, whoever he is... totally awesome.
If someone paid you $10k dollars to do this stunt, would you do it?
yeahh i guess that was a do it once right kinda deal....idk if i'd do that for money...i'm very clumsy so i'd prob find some way to break every bone in my body
If it was as smooth and clean as that? HELL YEAH.
This was actually proclaimed fake. It was CGI'ed. When he disappears in the middle they replace him with an animated image after.
I would. But for some reason, it looks like it's been altered . . . . especially the way the guy just suddenly flies off the ramp . . . . *scratches chins*
No duh
FUCK'n SICK.
Um... no.
Maybe they planned out the physics of the stunt before they went through with the actual thing, because if the guy did indeed miss the pool, I'm guessing he'll be paralyzed from the neck down.
I saw something like this on collegehumor.com once except it was a slide that went down the side of a house, and multiple did it a lot of times. I would do it, the pools are placed where they are for a reason, because of the physics. As long as you stay the right way when going through the air, you should be fine, according to math.
This is wicked awesome!
It was fake and CGI'ed to hype up a Microsoft Project
omg !!! cooooolness! looks soo fun!
"epically?"
woww!!! awesome.
Dude... no way. That was completely awesome.
Epic doesn't even begin to define this.
10k to go down a 100+ foot waterslide, fly through the air for four seconds and either land in the pool or wind up in the hospital and end up suffering for months or maybe years for your injuries to heal which would entitle you to either the most bad ass person ever or simply fucking retarded... I'd have to say no- the medical bills and health care alone would probably be more than 10k.
It's not real
they must be geniuses in physics
I would never ever do something like that.
fake fake fake fake fake
that guy would have broken something if it were real
@Ndaniel@xanga - agreed. :D bad ass for being fake. c'mon it's like the movies, we know none of that shit is real but, still the explosions and shit, SSSWEEET!
even if done correctly, the fall into the water should still hurt him...it was a 2.5' deep bucket of water.
AHHHH Awsomistic cool !!!!!!!! so awsome man.. so awsome -_-'''
