This is a question that has plagued me since I first arrived here.
The site is one for Men's Issues, yet a lot of the commenters seem to be women. This isn't to say that women aren't welcome or I don't love our female commenters. All it means is that I'm surprised by just how many women we seem to have commenting on this site.
Certainly it is up for debate if this affects the discussion being had on this site at all. And I think it's healthy for the blog and men in general that we have so women commenting here
Interestingly enough, they are often calling us out for not being manly enough or for being too pigheaded or something or other. We're always always doing something wrong. Kinda reminds of me of an old joke: If a man has an opinion and a woman isn't around to hear it, is he still wrong?
However, the point of this post is not to rag on our female readers. We love each and every one of you. Yes, even Ms. "This Is Pointless" herself, BunnyParfait. The point is to ask you to explain to us why there are so many women on the Mancouch. Me being the analytical type, I wonder what this says about us and this blog in general. I think it's probably a good thing, but I wouldn't mind adding a few more fellas to our collection. Blue Skye can't be holding up the male voice in the comments section all by himself (and that whole green M&M thing is kinda creeping me out).

but ithink it's because trolling mancouch is like a cyber substitute for buying ben&jerrys and some chick drama b/c well it's free yanno? dont gotta spend gas for it, just steal your neighbor's wifi, troll, and bam -- good time to make ourselves feel better! at the expense of others but the internet is great for picking fights without a huge risk of getting beaten up. women like looking/hearing about themselves i guess?

Mancouch is one of the more humorous blogs powered by Xanga. Atleast that's why I read it. Also because I applied for an internship with Mancouch. :)

I'm sure plenty of men read the female equivalent(s) of mancouch, I know I do.Why are there so many teenage boys on momaroo? Kind of the same thing IMO.

Yeah, come on. I submitted three posts already for consumption, and still the biggest complaint is that women are getting a lot on Mancouch than the men who would actually say they want anything to do with female celebrities.
Plus nprospect, one of those posts is supposed ot be a catering to The_Tudor_Rose's fantasy.

I don't really know why so any girls are on here, but I am not stopping them. The real question ought to be: why are there some girl-directed posts that has nothing to do with men? The only thing we have to do with tanlines or buttfloss is an excuse for us to stare at their bum. That's not helping the cause; that's Anarchy!!! And I send posts to keep hope alive for those who still don't have have male friends across the universe!!!
