  • Mo' Money = Mo' Orgasms?

It's official: "Scientists have found that ... the wealthier a man is, the more frequently his partner has orgasms."

The quotes from this article are priceless, and surpass any possible commentary I could possibly add:
    • Scientists found that the wealthier a man is, the more frequently his partner has orgasms.  “Women’s orgasm frequency increases with the income of their partner,” said Dr Thomas Pollet.
    • The study is certain to prove controversial, suggesting that women are inherently programmed to be gold-diggers.
    • David Buss, professor of psychology at the University of Texas, Austin, who raised this question in his book The Evolution of Desire believes female orgasms have several possible purposes. ... “What those orgasms are saying is ‘I'm extremely loyal, so you should invest in me and my children’."
    Wow.

I'm not really surprised by the science (here's the abstract of the study).  But I'm kinda blown away by the article.  What kind of journalist writes that women may be "inherently programmed to be gold-diggers."?  Even if that's true, that seems like a dangerous thing to say in mixed company!  I'm going to assume that the reporter has no daughters or girlfriends... or alternatively, balls of steel.

But let's put aside the reporting, and move onto the really important question.

Do you think that women are more like to orgasm if their partner is wealthier?
