  • I Don't Understand Fake Boobs

I had an epiphany the other day as I was wandering across the Internets. I don't really understand fake boobs. In fact, I find them rather intimidating. They just aren't very friendly.

It was weird because this was something I had never thought of before. I just accepted their existence and their prevalence in society without ever thinking any more about it. I guess it's because I don't think I actually know anyone with fake boobs.

I know, obviously, that strippers, porn stars, and actresses all have them. And to some extent that seems scarily natural. But I don't understand why any normal woman would get them.  They're just very standoffish. They're so alien to me as to make the person behind them somewhat unrecognisable to me. And the bigger and faker they are the worse it is.

I have no idea why any woman would get fake boobs.

And ladies, don't blame guys for this one. It's not us. We don't care about size as much as you think. There are at least four things guys care about just in the category of boobs more than size. These four are:

    1) Our level of access to said boobs
    2) New boobs vs. Old boobs - not surgically new, I mean new to us
    3) How they fit said person they are attached to
    4) Shape

These are all way more important to us than size. And any guy will tell you that a natural C is better than a fake D any day of the week. So don't put this one on us.

And if a guy literally asks a woman to get her boobs done ... well, that's just insane. That guy clearly does not belong among the general human population. We really should create leper colonies for assholes, but that's a whole other post in and of itself.

So I'm completely at a loss. And as always when such a case rises before me, I must turn before the wise Mancouch Commenters:

Why do normal women get fake boobs?

Because they are under the impression that size is important since media projects women with push up bras and constantly comment on the big ones!

  • MangoWOW@xanga

They feel inadequate next to other women with bigger chests so they get the fake boobs in order to try to gain attention from whomever.
I like to think of Shakira here... while I absolutely love her and think she's a wonderful singer I've heard more than once in her songs where she talks about why its okay that her boobs are small and usually at the same time making some comment about big chests that just makes her sound jealous.

  • ordinary_gir1@xanga

to makes themselves feel better about their image.

Also, some women have 2 misized brests and get it fixed?

  • Lordv16@xanga

Fake boobs creep me out...not to mention the girl behind em comes off as insecure.

  • PrincessYnattirb@xanga

i understand why normal women get fake boobs.
i for one want them because I am a flat cup (not even an A)
and I would like to wear more things that are chest flattering, but can't because I don't have the cleavage.
I wouldn't go insane with them though, I would just got a B or C at most.
And I would never get them because a guy wants me too.
I would get them only for my own personal reasons.

  • MochaMoose230@xanga

@MangoWOW@xanga - hahaha. i know one of the songs you're talking about. something about "my breasts are small and humble so you don't confuse them with mountains"
...except it sounds cooler when she says it with her accent.

  • roxics@xanga

Fake titties are no good. No good can come of them. I'd rather date a flat chested girl then one with fake tits. A nice ass on the other hand is a great asset. :)

  • SamiiSaysHaii@xanga

Well, they think that women with bigger breasts are more attractive to males, when all actuality, no, not really ! ahaha and the media puts a big impact on it, too. Victoria Secret models, Sports Authority models, etc. are all usually large-chested women who are beautiful, so why wouldn't you want larger boobs ? [not meaning it literally] That's when self-esteem and confidence would come in to play.

I personally think fake boobs are disgusting. They look SO fake and untouchable. It's like they're going to pop or slosh out of place if you poke them ! Daisy de la Hoya from Daisy of Love is a pretty girl with fake boobs... and they look like they're made of wax or something >.> They're shiny and bulgy ! I don't think she needed bigger boobs THAT much with a face like hers. But then look at Kate Hudson, Kiera Knightley and other small chested girls that are still brilliant, beautiful and are successful ! They didn't need large breasts to receive attention.

Mostly I think the reasoning is simple: to please men. :\ Or if they really need a confidence boost that desperately.

  • Mr_Jin@xanga

It's not for you buddy, it's for their own self esteem.

    I've been with A's to DD's...most natural, some not.  As long as I get access to them, I'm not complaining either way.  ( .)(. )  (. )(. )  (. )( .)  ( .)( .)

I will be honest I have more than once thought of getting fake boobs before. But after really thinking about it my boobs fit me perfectly even if they aren't huge like we all think they need to be. I am, and have been naturally 115-120 lbs since I stopped growing. I can eat as much as I want and I am stuck between those weights. I am also 5'7". So I am very skinny for my height. 34B is what I've been stuck with and for a while I hated it because it seems that that is what is important to guys! But I'm starting to love my body and I guess I'm okay with being less than average.

  • ArielInWonderland@xanga

@roxics@xanga - That's partially why I'm okay with my Bs lol. I have a damn nice ass.

  • aca_maca@xanga

idk..i grew up with parents who lived in the times of twiggy, and thought skinny girls with small boobs were attractive.

then i got c cups, and all i wanted to do was become smaller.

although i've gotten used to them, sometimes i wish i could do a reverse boob surgery, so that when i go out and talk to people, i know they are talking to me because they are interested in me, instead of having to watch their eyes the entire time to make sure they aren't oogling my boobage.

  • roxics@xanga

@ArielInWonderland@xanga - Really? I don't believe you. Maybe you can prove it to me?

  • XDaemonessX@xanga

I wouldn't get implants per say, but I would like a lift.  My breasts are working breasts and since they are retired, I think they deserve something special =)

  • ArielInWonderland@xanga

@roxics@xanga - ahaha nope sorry :) gladly taken.

  • roxics@xanga

@ArielInWonderland@xanga - That's ok. I'm just having a little fun. Sounds like a lucky guy.

  • nprospect

@ordinary_gir1@xanga - The having two different sized boobs thing I understand. That's not what I'm addressing here. I'm saying I don't understand the impetus to make some one's boobs much bigger.

@aca_maca@xanga - Not to make this into a therapy session or anything, but don't blame your boobs for the faults in others. Love them and love yourselves. There is no ideal and the grass will always be greener elsewhere. All you can do is make your own ideal and appreciate yourself for who you are.

Ah fuck, just got canned from mancouch, I'm being forced over to the lifetime channel.

  • complicatedlight@xanga

    @Mr_Jin@xanga - here's one for their self-esteem: mmmm...natural.

  • ChocolateCoveredKittens@xanga

Why do normal women get haircuts or new clothes? It's all the same thing!

  • d0llh0use@xanga

    *lol* at the picture.

  • yakko1@xanga

I'd just like to point out that I'm a proponent of boobage whether real or fake.  I believe most women do not need to do anything to their breasts whether they're big or small.  But honestly, I think many women have the false belief that getting fake breasts will bring them the self-confidence and happiness that they seek.  Unfortunately, this will not be the result in a number of cases.

  • nprospect

@ChocolateCoveredKittens@xanga - Those aren't surgery and permanently altering your body.

  • travelsurv@xanga

b/c women, like men, are always trying to one-up each other. and women, in my opinion, are a lot more competitive when it comes to appearances.
