In America's modern-day society, men appreciate women's rights to do whatever they wish, and we also decided that we shouldn't do everything anyway, because we like being lazy.
So why not allow women to partake in some of these things? Women shouldn't have to stay in the kitchen all day and take care of the kids. How about letting them get in some play time too?
In which, comes women's sports.
Most sports involve men chasing balls around.
In soccer, men chase balls around; in basketball, men do the same. In football, we wear tight pants and tackle other men to chase a ball.
Since men do all the chasing anyway (including dating), why not relax and let the women chase some balls for once...wearing only the necessary amount of clothing outside as to help them avoid wind resistance... and... comply with safety regulations? After all, safety first.
Men only wish women to have equal opportunity in playing sports, so even if it rains, the game's still on. We have no intention of depriving you of the opportunity. Or even if the sprinkler system happens to break the night before the game and the field is muddy...
Don't worry, mud is great for the skin! Or so I've heard.
But the real reason why men love women's sports so much, is that we all know that women secretly are vicious beings towards one another without any code of honor whatsoever, and will take advantage of any opportunity to crush their opponents.
"Whoops it was an accident, are you okay?"
Even the coach in the background is like "damn that hurt and I was only watching it!"
There are kinda lesbian moments in women's sports, such as unintentional groping, which has the possibility of creating lesbian germs, which is scientifically the most potent aphrodisiac known to man.
(There are other sports than women's soccer we enjoy seeing. It's just that soccer is the most widely played sport. There is volleyball, and Women's MMA, in which they're allowed to hit while the other is down. Admittedly it could use some mud though.)

why is it that the viewings for womens' sports are lower in number?
in my own experience, the guys 3000m had the majority of every track team present watching, when it came to my own 3000m race the only people watching were the coaches of the girls running and maybe a random teammate or two
No tennis? No ice skating? No gymnastics? Out of all things, fucking soccer?
And for the record, this author does not really represent what men really like. I just think it's funny.
Ice skating is definitely better to watch for women. They look so much more graceful.

@JoeytheGenie@xanga - i never noticed that discrepancy when i was in track. but the 3000m (for us, it was 3200m) was boring to watch and to run - 8 laps got really repetitive. the 4x400m was always my favorite. it was at the end of the meet, and everyone would watch.
@snapeful@xanga - I imagine an athletic women rocking my world and making me cry from how long she can go haha athleticism in the bedroom is never a deterrent with men ahaha. BUT the ego of a man is fragile in a sense of them being less likely to go hit on them because theyre are seen as unattainable maybe?

Well I play softball and one of my team member's boyfriends said it was a lesbian sport!! Well he said "dyke sport" but I don't like that word haha. So I guess guys don't like all women's sports.
