the guys from autotune the news (michael gregory and his brothers and girlfriend) are from my town. i actually saw them perform at my friend's new year's party 08. they're amazing. they all went to my high school and were all in band together.
also, michael tried out for american idol a few years ago as a joke. if you search michael gregory american idol on youtube you'll find it.
