Do men like women with makeup?
I was slightly ignoring my boyfriend on the phone while I was surfing the web. I stumbled upon a video for face contouring and completely zoned out. Thankfully, he understands me enough to just let me be.
After the video:
Him: So, what were you watching?
Me: Some makeup thing.
Him: Oh god, please don't become one of those.
Me: I want nice skin!
Him: Yeah, but you shouldn't have to put it on.Ahahaahah! Who remembers Face/Off? Yes, I thought of that.
Anyway, is it true that men prefer woman with less/no makeup?

I think they prefer for a girl to be able to not wear any makeup and still be beautiful.
However, they like that girl to be able to throw a little bit of natural makeup on and look absolutely stunning and be on her arm.
My fiance thinks I'm just as beautiful without makeup and with wet hair as I am with my whole face "on" and hair fixed.. even though I wouldn't agree.
I don't wear makeup at all. Maybe once a year for a special occasion/formal occasion.
I mean, I think if you look good natural then he might prefer that over a face that has makeup all over it.
the men that i've been with love it when i get ready for a hot date, because i get all glammed up but they've never really understood why my make up bag was always the heaviest when we travel. lol. i'm sure they love it when a girl goes out of her way to doll up herself but at the same time, they just want us to be us. i'm not too big on wearing make up that screams "look at me" but i like to look like i don't have any make up on even though i never leave the house with out it.
MEN! Where are the MEN in this thread?! But I will add to the femaledom and say that I think my current boyfriend is confounded by makeup in general. It can be used for good, but he looks at me putting it on and I can see the question mark over his head.
I like to show my girls off. I appreciate it when they put a bit of effort into their appearance.
I like women who can look good with or without. I prefer women that are beautiful without.
Less is more. Although, I can be a sucker for girls with nice eye shadow.
I never wear makeup. I'm really too lazy to. Plus...well I'm not getting into that.
Quite frankly, I don't give a damn one way or the other.
I don't have time to put make up on. But if I do it's just to even out my face tone, and put some color on my eye lids and maybe a tinted gloss. I haven't put real deep color lipstick on in awhile. hahaa.
I have to put on makeup. Even if I'm just going to the grocery store. Call it insecurity; call it conceit; I just feel naked without it.
I could care less about whether or not a guy likes me with or without makeup.
I still look good bare-faced.
But I love to paint... and sometimes, painting my face in the mornings is the only canvas I have.
Less is better. Sometimes none is perfect.
A lot of makeup is a turn off, less is better, none is best. As long as they can pull it off though. :#
I guess it could go either way. Looking nice on certain occasions is one thing, but caking it on every day is another. Natural beauty gets erased if you're constantly trying to cover it up.

I prefer less makeup. Girls just need to take care of their skin and do their hair. Makeup is overkill.
I think it's a lot like boobs. Some guys don't mind implants, but I HATE them.
I see nothing wrong with makeup at all but if it's to the point where it has it's own layer completely covering your face or anything like the top right picture shown (extremely darker than your skin and doesn't compliment you at all) then it's pretty ridiculous and pointless.
Another makeup and men post...I'll say the same thing I said before: Men say they don't like women who wear too much makeup or even prefer women who don't wear any. Thing is a lot of them can't tell the difference in understated "natural looking" makeup and none at all.
I have had male friends announce mid conversation "hey you're wearing makeup...when did you start doing that?" when they've been seeing me in it for years without realizing it. The only difference was I may have done my makeup a little more obvious that particular day. lol
@Wait_by_Moonlight@xanga - You know, I think the majority of Mancouch posters/commenters are women... What gives?
To answer the post, I think the rule of thumb for girls and makeup is if it's blatantly obvious that you're wearing it - it doesn't match YOU - it's too much. Also if a girl always has to be worrying about it, it's too much.
Less is more. If it HAS to be used, keep it natural looking.

i am not sure. i think that men would prefer for a women to be pretty without needing makeup. some chicks need makeup to be attractive. i would hate that. also, i think that guys like girls who wear makeup, its feminine, alot of dikes dont wear makeup u kno.
my man likes it when i wear makeup and dress myself up but he tells me all the time that i dont need makeup, usually when he is in a hurry to go somewhere and i still have to get ready. haha i believe him tho. all my life ppl have told me how i didnt need makeup.

Yes almost all my guy friends would say, natural beauty is better. But I'm sure they get excited when u put on some mascara and eye shadow for certain occasions! And I agree! :)
my bf hates it when i wear makeup.. if i'm wearing it.. he says eew or something else that's mean.. he says it to every girl he sees with makeup.. even his mom. thank God i don't need makeup... plus when i do my makeup.. i'm always late to where i have to be..
he hates makeup, fake hair, fake boobs, fake nails.. he likes a girl who appreciates what she has and keep it simple, natural, and nice...
(i don't always give him what he likes though.. cause I am me.. but i mostly never wear makeup or weave..n my boobs r real)
