As I was looking at my Made-in-China East Coast slaves, I was wondering what in the world I should do with all the silk worms I'd been harvesting. A woman like that approached me after church last week, and I had no idea what she was talking about. She started first by asking me if I was German, and then ended up talking about how an orange purse another woman was carrying in the church was so "pertinent" to her own struggles in life.
