Shining: the Romantic Comedy
Speaking of trailers, have you heard of a trailer mashup (aka re-cut trailer): "a parody trailer for a movie created by editing footage from that movie or from its original trailers, and thus are a form of mashup. They generally derive humor from misrepresenting the original film: for instance, a film with a murderous plot is made to look like a comedy, or vice versa."
This one for The Shining slays me... it was one of the first trailer mashups, turning a horror classic into a romantic comedy:
I never knew The Shining was a father-son coming of age story - classic!

i saw this right after watching the shining. that made it creepy, but still funny.

Romantic moments is always been a fun for the lovers..There is a news recently.The internet is buzzing over Jon Gosselin's girlfriend. The reason as to why anyone wants to know anything about Jon Gosselin's girlfriend or the Gosselins in general is because they might not have enough time on their hands, but at any rate, he is already dating again, a 22 year old named Hailey Glassman, and a lot of people are consequently looking for a Hailey Glassman mugshot, as few pictures of her are out there. Jon Gosselin is about to launch his own fashion line – because there aren't enough companies that sell jeans and t shirts. Still, enough people will still flock to payday loan companies if they can buy s shirt designed by Jon Gosselin's girlfriend.
Hmm, one of those older movies I've yet to see... looks like a great family film too.

I like how at the end, they used the generic happy announcer guy's voice, and he proclaims "Shining"--the all American film, lmao.
