  • Top Celebrities that Scare Me

    Have you ever seen a celebrity on screen who you couldn't help but to stare at? Especially when celebrities play a villain or a monster on screen, you can't help but to cringe inside. Perhaps I'm being superficial, but don't judge if you know you caught yourself staring at another person because of the way they looked! For a celebrity to frighten me, I have to be somewhat unfamiliar with them and their face. The characters and behaviors they portray on the screen and sometimes, simply their voice, adds to their frightening appearance. So these are a few that popped into my head.

    1. Willem Dafoe

    I recently saw The English Patient and I couldn't help but cringe at the way he was so hungry for Ralph Fiennes to finally say his name. His voice was almost nasally, he body looked thin and sickly, and he had this greedy look in his eyes. Granted, his convincing role just shows how good of an actor he is. On the right he plays a monster in Shadow of the Vampire.

    2. Peter Lorre

    Maybe it's the nasally voice, but seeing him in Casablanca made me peer closer to see his bulging eyes and desperate (and sweaty!) composure. He's bald here in Mad Love--which now that I think about it, makes him look kind of cool especially with that suave eyebrow going up. Oh yeah, I'm intrigued as well.

    3. Michael Jackson

    Don't hate, musical legend or no muscial legend, you know the dude's ugly.

    4. Marylin Manson 

    I try not to see all his pictures because some really freak me out!

    5. Amy Winehouse

    On the right, her skin is glowing and she looks so healthy--even her hair is voluminous and shiny. Now she scares me.
