According to
a study done by AskMen, America did not even make it to the top 10 list of the horniest countries in the world!
(Ed's note: as discussed here.)The countries were determined by a Durex sex survey, so just how accurate this might be is debatable... but some of the results are surprising!
China and Malaysia are on the list (at numbers 4 and 7, respectively). Two countries that are known for being generally conservative.
Coming in at number 6, Italy apparently is popular among the youth... and the not-so-young: "A poll found that 32% of Italians over 60 years old have sex regularly." Impressive.
Poland (number 5) and Russia (3) grace the list, where nightclubs are fast becoming a favorite pass-time. The runner up is wonderful Brazil (no surprise there).
And the horniest country, according to this list?
Greece. I guess they've retained something of their old gods (if you'll remember, Zeus was insatiable!).
Can you believe that the US was not on the list? Are there any countries you think should be on the list that aren't?

oh damn. maybe we will make the list next year...
:P My family comes from Greece (great grandfather) so I found this amusing.
Greece was kind of obvious. It's known for that. I'm surprised all of Northern Europe and Western Europe (except Spain) is nowhere to be found.
Wasn't there already a post on this topic...
again, i would like to know what was on that survey.
@Pcgecko85@xanga - I think there is...
Japan should definitely be on the list...
I'm not that surprised by Greece, but I'm surprised Brazil didn't knock it down to take the top spot.
Japan should be on there, and maybe even Germany.
I really expected Japan to be on that list!
I can believe it. Mainly because a majority of American men are cut. In pretty much all of the top 10 nations, men are NOT cut. It does make a difference. Uncut men are much hornier than their cut counterparts, because they get more pleasure and satisfaction from sex than their cut counterparts.
Something to think about next time you think of the word "circumcision."
@MissPixieGlitter@xanga - I'm not sure about the actual questions, but I think it just asked how often people have sex... although of course just taking their word for it is NOT the most reliable way to tell but how else can you do it? lol
@abilene_piper_lg@xanga - I never thought of it that way. But I mean.. generally men want it either way, don't they? Does it as much of a difference as you say it would? That IS something to think about.
@givemecoke@xanga - @Pcgecko85@xanga -
There is! I'm really sorry, I should have checked first but I got carried away. ): It won't happen again.
The other one is here: (Click)
@Littoface@xanga - Men want it either way, but I'll tell you this: merely removing the foreskin causes a 75% reduction in sensation, so yes, it's HUGE. Men do want it either way, but those that find more gratification in it will want it more.
lol i can't blieve china's on the list. where's japan???
that's it. I'm packing my tires and buying a ticket to Greece.
EUREKA!
I kind of figured Greece would be.
@abilene_piper_lg@xanga - I've dated cut and uncut men and I've found the exact opposite to be true. I'm not saying that what you're saying isn't true, but I've never seen that in my personal experience.
@Littoface@xanga - don't worry about it.. I find it weird that the US didn't make the list!
Brazil deff. is a hornyy countryy ! i lovee my countryy!
@spidergrass@xanga - Sometimes the opposite can be true. The theory on that is since cut men are less sensitive, they need more to get off (in other words, attain the level of sexual enjoyment necessary for optimal mental health).
There really is honest disagreement among us anti-circs on which is true, but neither trait is desirable.
Shite. Guess I'm moving to Greece
@abilene_piper_lg@xanga - The difference is NOT 75%. Not even close. In fact, it is closer to 15% or 20%.
Also, less sensation does not change how often you feel the desire to get off. No matter how shitty sex was, guys would still be lining up to get their rocks off.
@flamingfuzzy@xanga - Actually it is closer to 75%. It's simple mathematics. Foreskin: 20,000 nerve endings, head: 4,000 endings, shaft: 4,000 endings.
So about a total of 28,000 nerve endings on an intact dick. Remove those 20,000 on the foreskin. Our percentage reduction is (1 - (8,000/20,000) x 100 = .6 x 100 = 60% reduction in nerve endings.
Now take the type of nerve endings. The foreskin contains what's called "meissner's corpuscles" which are sensitive to light touch. The head and shaft only contain pressure and pain sensitive nerve endings, which adds about another 10%-15% to the loss. 60% + 15% = 75% reduction.
Alaska.
Oh, wait. That`s not a country.
