Music I Miss: Jamiroquai Edition
I, and I believe everyone else born in the 1980s, have a special place in my heart for Virtual Insanity by Jamiroquai. Especially the video! This was the coolest video at the time (other than the bullet centered video for Freak On A Leash by Korn) and will be featured in every video retrospective that will sure be produced by random anniversaries of music video channels, celebrating themselves for changing the world for daring to play music videos, something they don't do anymore. This video is very memorable, though. If only for Jamiroqaui's hat, if for no other reason. That is an epic hat, in the full sense of the word. Also memorable because despite having seen the video throughout my youth I did not realize that Jamiroquai was white until 2005. Enjoy:

ok i'm gonna comment b4 watching the vid. yes i remember him. something like a 1 hit wonder I think, i don't think most of his music was well known. and wasn't this the vid with all the bugs!? Ok, I'm gonna watch it now to see if i'm right

Yep that's the vid. Nice song too. Nice voice. At the end of the video when he gets close to the cam he looks all serious but I can't figure out if he's trying to be funny or not. I just can't help but laughing though.

Yeah I loved this song. All of Jamiroquai's stuff has been pretty cool, with his last big hit the Napoleon Dynamite ending song.

I remember Jamiroquai, but I don't think I ever saw any videos when I was younger... Cosmic Girl is fun though.

Ironic, a virtual tribute to a song about how technology is slowly destroying mankind.

i used to love this song. I think I was about..wow 10 or 11 when this came out. I downloaded a few of his more recent tunes from i-tunes about two years back. Actually most of his music is pretty good.
