Burrrrrppppp!!
Whenever I burp in front of my girlfriend, she says "That's not very attractive".
I mean, she has a point. But I feel so much better after I burp. It's like the perfect end to a great meal.
But seriously, whenever she says burping is not attractive... I'm not sure how to respond. Should I try to stop burping? I don't even know how to stop burping.
Do you burp after meals? Is there an alternative to burping that I don't know about?

Burping is fine as long it's not those annoying gurggly liquid burps where you know something came up on that one. >.<

i used to burp completely harmless odorless burps. but now... they're gross. :'(
I burp, but usually I put my hand over my mouth when I do so. I only let the full force of my burp out when I want to annoy somebody. The look on a person's face after you rip a good burp is priceless, or at least in my opinion.
You could say, "Neither is your face!"
But then that could get your ass kicked and dumped.
umm afraid the alternative is err farting so...which is worse?
If she can tolerate you burping after meals, that's love. If she can't, she has to suck it up. If you can't burp after a good meal, what else CAN you do?

Ethics in burping...
Step 1: Cover your mouth with your hand
Step 2: Burp
Step 3: Say "Excuse me."
Step 4: If needed, fan the air with hand.
Skip Step 1, 3, and 4 if you just dont care.
I think some people try to keep their mouths closed when they burp so it is not as loud. I don't see a problem with it if you're in a casual setting to belch. As long as you don't immediately try to make-out with your girlfriend right afterwards, it's really not that big of a deal.

Hmm, I don't really understand what's so "unattractive" about burping. It says a lot about a guy who's comfortable burping around you in my opinion.
Farting is a different story, cuz girls don't like male butt noises nor is the smell appealing.
Yeah dude, I'd take a burp over a fart ANY day. Farting is not attractive, allowances can be made for burping. Plus, you kind of just expect men to do it.
When my SO burps after a meal, i usually say "What was that for? or That's gross" or something, but i guess it makes me feel good, like he's comfortable enough around me to do that kinda of things. Even as gross as it is, it makes me laugh and have something to smile about.

There is a way to burp soundless instead of making the loudest of it. I could burp and fart soundless. Only a pro can do that ;) ;)
I don't burp when I eat food. I burp when I drink beer. I always say excuse me though!
Burping after a good meal is like a compliment to the chef. Since I'm normally that chef, I'm cool w/ppl burping after the meal. :p

Just belch, dude. Let it all out. It's a natural function in life just like blinking, coughing and farting. If you're at a fancy gathering or eating in public its generally more polite to excuse yourself afterward, but I don't believe there is an "alternative" to burping.
I'm a chick and I belch all the time. Buddy of mine introduced me as 'Burpy' to our students one week and it, unfortunately, stuck. Every time I burped the kids were all "Oh! That's why he calls you 'Burpy'!"
well, if you don't want your girlfriend to find you attractive, you know exactly what to do.
