A friend of mine told me recently that she had made a list of every guy that she had ever hooked up with. But she hadn't just made a list... she had keyed it, color-coding it by the amount that she had done with each guy (i.e. the base that each had gotten to). This sounded like a pretty interesting idea, so I tried it myself, and asked a few of my friends to do the same.
However, after looking at everyone's list, I noticed a sort of disturbing trend:
Not one of us had managed to remember everyone's name. I'm serious. I asked about six or seven people about this, and did one myself. Everyone that I asked was either 19 or 20 years old, and the total numbers ranged from as low as 10 names on the list to as high as 38. However,
every single one of the lists had names like "that guy from the club," "some girl at a mixer," "Rando #2," or something like that.
I'm kind of curious to see if it's just us, but I don't think that it is. I mean, every person that I asked was entering junior year in college, but in general, the people that I asked were
far from "slutty," so to speak. To prove or disprove my theory, I'm asking you guys and girls to try and make your own list. To qualify for a spot on your list, you have to at least made out with the person, the conventional "first base." This does include tongue (pecks don't count). In addition, same-sex kisses do indeed count. I'm encouraging you guys to actually write or type it out, because at least in all of our cases, it helped us to remember everyone.
Are you having trouble remembering everybody's name too, or are my group of friends and I just ridiculous?

Never found out the name of one guy. He does have a nickname tho... **shrugs**
I don't do random hooking up. I have to at least know the guy personally, even a LITTLE, have a crush on him for a while or SOMEthing to hook up with him. FWB is ok, I just would NEVER want a one-night stand.
Wow, yeah I'm sure it isn't just you guys but it's definitely not everyone. It kinda scares me that there are that many that you can't remember the names. To each his own and I'll try not to judge and all of that but if it bothers you, maybe that says something. I'm not a virgin and have had my fair share of make-out partners but not so many that I can't remember their names.

Yeah, there's lots of names on my list that I don't know. Some I just don't know last names, and some I don't know first or last. I honestly don't even know how many would be on the list. I'm counting 42 off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's a lot that I'm forgetting. I'm in my mid-20's, btw.

I'm 21 and I've hooked up with less than 10 people. I remember all the names because there's not many.
I can remember everyone, but it takes a lot of hard thinking. And I don't think that "just having one guy" or "not randomly hooking up" doesn't make anyone sound better than those of us that have had a little fun. Besides, numerous hook ups does not always mean that alcohol was involved, or even sex.
I can make my list easily. I'll even go all out and list everyone I've kissed, dated, or anything of that nature:

that's terrible that no one could remember all the names. i'm so glad i'm not a whore like 9/10 people (not just women guys too lol) in the world.

I'm 16. And I've "hooked up" with 14 guys.
Most of them are making out. One of them I was in a long term relationship with. Two are 'all the way'. Three are while I was intoxicated. Five were just friends with benefits.The funny part is, I'm not slutty, all of these boys were potential boyfriends at the time.But now that I've made a list, I can see that I like to kiss people, a lot. HahaI didn't count pecks on the cheek, cause my best friends over the years have kissed me on the cheek. I have a list. There is actually supposed to be like 32 people on it, but I have like 28. Not because I forgot their names, but for other reasons haha. Anyway, I think I remember all their names. Minus maybe 2, but I can't recall who they are or anything, just that there is 4 more people and that I can't remember 2 of them haha. Anyway, lists are good ideas. Mine's coded with italics and bolds =p
@dead_poetic009xx@xanga - I think 10 is a lot. I haven't hooked up with 10 people, just 3. I was referring to the part in the post that say that the people 19 or 20 years old had "as little as 10 hookups" I was shocked if that's the lowest number.

if you're including just kissing, then hell no, i can't remember everyone. i can name everyone i've had sex with and i think i could name everyone i've had oral sex with...but kissing, making out? no freaking way lol.
