How to tell real from fake
I wasn't surprised to see that the #1 Howcast video on Hulu is How To Tell Real Breasts From Fake:
I was hoping there was some magical rule of thumb... but I didn't learn too much. I may be in the minority here, but I think that fake breasts are kinda gross. But more on that later.
Can you spot implants with your naked eye?

i prefer the natural. about the only way i can really tell is if they lay down. fake stay "perky" while the natural usually flatten out some.
I think if someone wants fake boobs for cosmetic reasons, that's perfectly fine. If you are dissatisfied with your appearance and have the disposable income, then by all means use it. I don't think women who get implants are shallow anymore than women who get braces are shallow.
Canadian discrimination!
this video was kinda funny actually, lol.
personally, i would never have any kind of cosmetic surgery done to me; i'd rather be natural than "perfect," whatever perfect is. but i guess if a girl feels really self conscious about her bra size, i wouldn't scorn her decision to get implants. however, i WOULD scorn someone's decision to get implants if it was purely to get attention or if they were, say, 20 pounds each. seriously, wtf?
I'm sad to see so much negativity toward implants. The women I know who have gotten them had tasteful work done and one said she is glad now to actually be able to fill out a dress and finally feels "girly," the other is happy to be more proportional. Everyone should have the opportunity to be who they want to be and look how they want to. How is it really any different from, say, a cosmetic dental procedure?
I hate fake breasts and I can definately tell they are fake. A lot of models I see have BIG FAKE breasts and you can just tell. A lot of good/popular fetish models have them and they just look gross and you can tell. A few models I watch don't even have that big of breasts in the first place.
Unless you're going into the porn business I don't seen why you need em' really big but a few people had good posts there are good doctors that can make you have LARGER breasts but not like HUGE breasts that you can automically tell they are fake.
Usually, but it depends on the size of the implant relative to what she started with, and the quality of the implant and the surgeon.
Some of them, I can't tell.
I can usually tell them apart. It isn't something easily definable all the time, just something that is not perfectly natural.
........
yeah i can def spot fake boobies. but if you feel less like a woman with small boobs then go for it =) who am i to judge your choice to get implants?
it depends on how fake they are. I can only pick out the bad ones.
@beforedawn@xanga - did no one notice this comment?!?! ahahaha that is the funniest thing i have ever heard, thank you so much that made my day!
I can honestly say I learned something from that.
Some of those I already knew, but other methods of detecting them were new to me.
Pretty interesting. MMM's huh? hmm, gross.
@intheflowers@xanga - lol happy to hear that and... sighs.. one does so try lol
Dont approve of breast augmentation I've actually considered breast reduction. Mine are huge but in no way an MMM so I guess it isnt so bad.
yes I can tell when the boobies are fake hahaha
@methodElevated@xanga - I was born with a cleft lip and palate. I went through 19 surgeries over the first 18 years of my life. I'm extremely happy with my face and think I look quite beautiful. I'm now 24 and last December I went back to that same board certified cosmetic surgeon (whom I had known since birth) and got a breast augmentation and liposuction because I was unhappy with the shape and size of my breasts and no amount of exercise/dieting was getting rid of two spots of fat deposits on my body that I'm guessing were due to genetics. I never felt pressured by anyone, my boyfriend and family supported me all the way through. I come from both sides of your spectrum, in one aspect I was disfigured and 'needed' the surgeries I recieved when I was younger and yet my last procedure was purely cosmetic. I think once you've been through it, you understand the process more (unlike many women I didn't go into my surgery with unrealistic expectations, nor did I want to do it to enhance my 'career' or whatever other reasons people with these misconceptions and stereotypes have with implants). I do not feel fake because I am woman and women are supposed to have breasts (mine just so happen to be surgically enhanced). They are proportionate to my body and as far as I can tell (when admitting Ihad the procedure done to friends and other family members) it's not easy to tell mine are "fake" (under the muscle is the most natural looking way to go).
@mewithoutu77@xanga - mine move and bounce quite a bit actually....and they're implants, they look nothing like Posh, Pamela, or Carmen Elektra's. They are proportional to my body and were placed under the muscle so it doesn't give the breast that stiff, perfectly (and oddly) round shape. Just FYI.
@TheScaleDiaries@xanga - my coworker had somewhat the same procedure like yours and her boobs hang low, they're 32d, and when she wears a bikini top, you can definitely tell they're fake. with the technology of today, cosmetic surgeons can make it look almost real.
@mewithoutu77@xanga - Hmm, sounds like she either went too big or should have gotten a lift at the same time as the augmentation...or both (I mean no offense to your coworker of course, but if she's happy with it then that's good). It's true that the technology in cosmetic surgery is much better than it used to be (which I, personally, am thankful about for many reasons aside from my breasts). :)
ummm, well, i suppose i've learned something new today...
I really don't care about the fake/real boobs issue... I just checked out the video because I thought there would be some nice boobage in it.. but I was disappointed. lol.
<3
I am pretty small and trying to "grow" them. I can spot fake ones from miles. No matter what you can tell that they are fake...
I think fake breasts are okay, as long as there proportionate to the woman body. But natural breasts are better.
Real ones bounce. And fake ones usually have those rounded arcs below the collarbone but above where most bras cover that are flat even on naturally big-breasted women.
