Would you ever consider naming your kids after emo vampires like Edward and Bella?

Twilight is part of a worldwide conspiracy to stupify the human race.
My god. It's disgusting.
There's no plot, no character development, and the myth is all crapped up by glittering vamps and werewolves who aren't really weres. Not to mention the creepy, repressed fantasies sort of brought to life in the story between a bland, personality-less girl and her super-possessive almost emotionally abusive blood-sucking beau.
Oh, and the names? Bella is lovely--a little too prissy for me, but it's all good. Edward . . . meeeeh . . . I go back and forth on that one. Never a big fan of it myself. Those poor kids, though. How would you like to be named after characters in a teen-pop sensation that sucked? What kind of legacy does that give them?
I loooove to hate this series. Mwuahahahaha
Edward is a pretty common name. I like the name Bella, but not b/c of the book. The next dog I get will be named Bella Mozzarella.
I think you are overreacting here a little. This data clearly shows that both names were steadily on the rise. Now, if there was a 100 rank jump the year the movie came out then yea ok...
