  • Batman vs. Spider-Man

It's a dark, gothic night on the urban streets down a quiet alley way occupied with garbage bins and escape ladders. All, if not, most of the lights from the apartment windows are shut off and all to be seen is the silhouette of a man hanging upside-down from a rope.

(Ed's note: We couldn't find a silhouette, but this awesome pic from DeviantArt should give the general idea.)

As he leaps to the ground with such grace and agility, he begins to walk forward, out of the alley way and into the dead intersection. Filling the newspapers and tabloids, this man is often debated as a city hero and a first class villain. Either which way, this man is no ordinary man. He’s the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!

Stopping dead in his tracks, his Spidey Senses detect a noise from the ledge of an apartment building. Looking up, he’s greeted by a man dressed in gray with a black cape’s feet as he swoops down to take out Spider-Man. Recovering almost immediately, Spider-Man gets back up, and stays low to the ground, facing another superhero – Batman.

Both are most notoriously famous in their separate comic book worlds, but if they were to run into each other one dark night (no pun intended) on the streets, who would win?  I personally predict Spider-Man, simply because his powers are natural and anything that Batman has in his tool-I mean utility belt, Spider-Man can easily deflect out of his way to kick Batman’s ass.

What do you think? Think logically here, too! What would happen if Batman and Spider-Man crossed paths?
