Solve the riddle (it's not what you think)

Here's a riddle:
- What goes in dry and comes out wet?
- The longer it's in there, the stronger it gets.
- When it comes out it's wet and it starts to sag.
It's not what you think...

I guess if you knew that the second "it" was referring to the tea and not the bag itself, it would work. When a tea bag is in hot water it's the tea that gets stronger, not the bag.

i have never been good at riddles. i think the second hint threw me off since it doesnt really apply to the answer.

but i would rather like to keep to my dirty mind like some of the others here that were thinking the same. lol
